Don't be deceived, the HD stencil looks like a perfect picture on the video for some reason but when doing the artwork it's still hard to make sense of where you looking at! I guess the leather texture is what gives the challenge.
Ok, let's get to the paints techniques and equipment that I used. As well as other things I can remember!
The acrylic paints I used to airbrush are made by Createx, they are called Wicked colors and they flow well through the airbrush but more importantly.... they work perfectly on leather and the artwork will last.
I also use a lot of airbrushing in fact that is my main tool for painting but I also incorporate a lot of traditional brushing. I use whatever tool to help me get the job done right.
The magic stencil that I use is a custom HD Stencil, those give the best starting point you can ask for a painting but in person, they look just like a stencil result. I don't like the plain stencil results.
To protect the painting I use LK topcoat since that stuff will take care of the artwork. To spray it, I can do it with an airbrush but for this, I used a spray gun since is faster to cover a large area.
