Hi Elizabeth Joubert! Thank you for your kind comment. These foil quill pens are a lot of fun to work with. Have you seen my other videos on these pens? Check out my YT channel for more ideas and techniques. Thank you again and stop by often.
Hi Victoria Mcmaine...thank you for commenting! Yes, using a piece to place on the card design takes the stress out of it! Once I become more confident I may start to foil directly onto the card. Im working on the best way to do that now. Once I practice a bit more, I will share with a tutorial. Thank you again and keep in touch.
You have put a lot of thought into the process of getting the foiling where you want it. Lots of good ideas. I am wondering why you are using tissue paper instead of tracing paper. TFS
Hi Audre Gaer! Thank you for commenting. I use tissue paper instead of tracing paper because it transfers the foil better. Also, you can see through the tissue paper much better if you're going to be tracing an image or images. I did a video showing the different results comparing both the tracing and the tissue paper. Check out my RU-vid home page for all the videos I posted using the foil quill pens (The video that shows the tracing/tissue paper comparison shows the bunnies on black cardstock). Thank you again and please stop by often.
Hi Lisa all your demos are Awesome and very easy to follow, so with this in mind I hope you will allow me to add a link to your Demos on my FB page Memory Book Crafting where they are featured on the group page.
