Hang in there. All you need is that first 6-12 months otr and you’re golden. I went through the same thing when I started, I didn’t got to driving school. I got my cdl on job training delivering beer. Most companies wouldn’t take that as experience because it’s a smaller truck and trailer lol Covenant was the only company that gave me a shot.
@@MakeCentsTrucking as a matter of fact, a small regional company in my area went against their insurance company and offered me a job anyways for a dedicated route of delivering auto parts for a parts store chain. They also have divisions like a government mail contract, flatbed and non-hazmat tanker division. Funny enough, I was wanting to get into hazmat tanker hauling and just received my hazmat endorsement and notification for TWIC card approval but I think this is a fantastic opportunity to get started with the potential of various levels of experience. Honestly, I have a lot of gratitude to channels like yours, Justin's and others for providing the inspiration and the vision with a real-world perspective. So, thank you for being you and I hope to see you out on the road within a few years. 🥂
