We compare the graphics of PES Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. PC is set to max. graphics, although there isn't much to set anyway. We captured identical conditions, stadiums and teams. The first one is FC Barcelona vs. Arsenal London at Camp Nou Stadium, rainy weather at night. The second one are the national teams of Brazil and Germany, playing at day, clear weather in Estadio Alberto J. Armando, actually located in Buenos Aires, Argentine. We tried to use Estádio do Maracanã but it wasn't available on PC. As you can see, the PC version of PES 2017 doesn't use the same graphics engine as the current-gen consoles, again.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von PES Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 auf PC, PS4 und Xbox One. PC ist auf maximale Grafik-Details gestellt. Wir haben alle Szenen zu identischen Bedingungen aufgenommen, also gleiche Stadien, Wetter- und Tageszeiten. Der erste Teil der Aufnahmen stammen aus dem Freundschaftsspiel FC Barcelona gegen Arsenal London im Camp Nou Stadion bei Regen und Nacht. Der zweite Teil zeigt die Nationalmannschaften von Brasilien und Deutschland im Estadio Alberto J. Armando, das eigentlich in Buenos Aires, Argentinien liegt. Ursprünglich wollten wir das Maracana Stadion in Rio nutzen, das war aber auf dem PC nicht verfügbar. Wie im Video deutlich wird, nutzt die PC Version von PES 2017 eine ältere Engine als die Current-Gen Konsolen.

A playstation 4 has 8gb of combined memory. A PC with 2GB VRAM and let's say 8GB RAM should usually outperform the PS4 in terms of memory performance, unless we're talking about a 960 or something with similarly slow video memory. Also while 2GB cards can't usually run games in 1080p and above at ultra settings, 2GB are still more than enough to run games at higher settings than both consoles.

Looks terrible. Though, they only say that this is on the PC. They don't say if this is played on the PC at ultra high settings, just that it was on PC. For all we know, this could have been played at the lowest possible settings. It says nothing about the game.

Why so many dislikes? Dont shoot the messenger! Konami doesnt give a fuck, they are happy with the critical success of PES 16 and 17, the bad rep from the PC ports dont seem to bother them! Just buy FIFA, its a better, and more complete game anyway, no matter how many reviewers jizz their pants for PES, its animations and player models are still far inferior to FIFA, its passing is like an arcade game(which the critics find realistic), not even mentioning the licenses. Dont bother with it!

Well i've got XB1, PS4 and a brand new hi spec gaming PC myself and I can't understand why this so called 'PC master race' have to bang on all the time saying PC is better than anything on console gaming. OK, I understand that somethings do look nice on PC at the moment and you can add mods etc to add a few more shiny lights, but not everyone in this world has the exact same opinion. If you enjoy playing your expensive P.C setup, shut the fuck up and go play your system. I'm off myself now to enjoy playing Forza Horizon 3 and PES 2017 on my consoles without whining like an 8 year old saying which platform is better and what other people should do.

pc gamers can play ps4 game using ps4 emulator app lol...... the game developer build the game using pc lol..... this is only the strategy to make us move to console because the version of game on pc can be easily hacked or cracked...... and it can be gotten for freeeeeeeeee......... and they will loss much from it.

I agree. When PES sucked and FIFA was better, it was the PC audience that kept supporting the game, while the console players were all going to FIFA. Now that PES is good again, Konami slapped the PC players right in the face. I will not buy this game for PC. Other PC players should do the same.

No wonder there were so many bad reviews on steam. I was going to buy it through steam, so that I didn't have to walk into a store or wait for it to ship to my address, but so many reviews were negative and talking about the graphics. Still deciding if I should get it for Xbox One, even though I already have FIFA 17 (last year I bought both FIFA 16 and PES 2016).

It's incredible how Konami can trasform Pes 2017 for PC into an old generation game. It should be better than PS4 and XBOX ONE. Great Konami! ;) You won't go anywhere like this...
