Great video. I've been playing pes since is pro on the ps1 and this years is one of the best. Really enjoying it. I packed in Fifa after Fifa 17 as the ridiculous scripting just made playing it frustrating rather than enjoyable.

I love your analysis, big man. You're spot on. And the reasons you identified in this comment are exactly why I can't play FIFA. After playing PES fifa gameplay feels like an arcade game from the 90s. It's presentation is the best though. But for me as someone who looks at real football and knows what it's like to play actual football, PES is far superior to FIFA on the pitch.

Not in the slightest whatsoever and don't get me wrong I have FIFA 20 I buy it every year but this year it is one of the worst that's ever been released. I used to be a hardcore PES player back in the PS2 and PS3 days when PES was on top. I switched to FIFA when the PS4 released because from PES14 on PS3 I didn't like the way the gameplay felt at all and it just confirmed to me how bad the fox engine had impacted the gameplay on 15 and 16. It didn't feel like the same game I loved back on the PS3. I gave FIFA 14 a chance as it was the only football game released on PS4 for the first year and I actually liked it that much I stuck with it. I gave PES the benefit of the doubt with 15 and 16 but I couldn't get 17, 18 or 19 because I felt it still wouldn't feel like the game I originally loved. PES 2020 actually looks like a return to form and I'll be getting it a giving it a go. The only thing to really keep FIFA for is FUT and without that the game isn't worth playing. I don't bother with Pro Clubs, Career mode, Champions League or Europa League. So the only thing I play it for is FUT. The only thing I've got against PES is My Club has way too many restrictions on how you play while also the commentary isn't that good but that said neither is FIFA'S commentary. The one thing that PES will always destroy FIFA on is the Master League and it's editing potential. And lastly I have never and still don't understand why people make a big thing about the licenses and kits as a simple option file download and install gives you all the kits, managers, relevant team info so that is a mute and poor argument as to why FIFA is the better game because it really isn't and like I said it's not even the best FIFA game.

Pes 20 is for sure the best football simulator from the last years, by far ... And here is why : the physicality is better, more realistic than ever ... At long wet grass on rainy or snowy the gameplay feels slower and more fluid ( my favourite ) ... You protect the ball better having time and space to think every phase ... Choosing short dry grass the gameplay is a a bit faster ... It is more difficult, it have more middle battles wich makes it great .... MATE PLAY IT AT LONG GRASS SNOWY DAY AT IBROX, IT LOOKS NATURAL AND IT FEELS AMAZING ! What is also great is now on Pes 20 you can play using FUMA full manual pass level support off in the online divisions, i mean both of the opponents, just to fix before at pass level support - SIMILAR LEVEL

The players have 5 different conditions forms before every match, they also change their ratings depending where you position them on the pitch ! Every match feels different

@@Emma_madison Unfortunately I haven't been playing both, since I don't have a CPU that fits to play them. My comment was regarding the graphics and mechanics looking, that seems fantastic, feels like almost watching a real match on TV. Fifa didn't brought me that. But your viewpoint is fair.

Same, PES gameplay took some time to get used to but after a few matches I couldn't get back to FIFA. It's gameplay just feels so wrong now.

I hear you bro, I've been on PES now since like 2008, was a FIFA fan all the way till like 2014/15.. around then I went back and forth but PES 17 onwards really brought me back to Konami, they just find ways of improving gameplay eachtime..

@@DeanPradipta it's one of my reasons I stayed with FIFA so long mate, but to be fair these days with the PES patches, I prefer PES all in all even without the fully licensed leagues, competitions, stadiums, balls.. if EA and Konami just did a one off, made like a World cup game together or something doesn't even need leagues it could just have international competitions.. Meh.. the gameplay is terrible. Slow motion in comparison to real life football. Shots also look very slow. It kills the immersion IMO.

@@Luckass00 in 07, FIFA was miles ahead of PES. And when FIFA 08 for the PS3 rolled in .. there was no discussion to be had. PES Was blown away, no joke. FIFA 10, 12 and 13 added distance between the two. When FIFA 15 tied in stadium atmosphere, there was no way PES was catching up ... Or so I thought, since FIFA hasn't grown past 2015 🤦‍♂️ I switched to PES 16. Gameplay was good in comparison to FIFA by a small margin. Not enough to have me commit to it though. And then PES 17 was utter rubbish. Which is shocking considering PES produced a gem of a game a year later. PES 18 was the game that usurped FIFA in my opinion. And 20 is running away with it in true football simulation style. Let's not pretend PES was always better. That's a lie. PES 10 is a forgettable game and no one will talk about '12.

2014? 😂 I lived and breathed fifa since 98 😌what I did this year was I brought both and I’ve been wrestling between the two but I’ve come to the conclusion that PES is just a better game it feels like real football ⚽️

Definitely looking forward to that! I'm still enjoying PES 2019, and as good as PES 2020 looks from your review, I still decided to skip it and wait for 2021. Now that we're facing difficult times, I might change plans and just pick up this game when a good discount hits. Considering that it's a 1 Hr review, will you touch on the A/I? 👁️ Cuz tbh, as good as it is in 2019 (compared to 2018s unrealistic, cheating A/I) they still had those low crossing spamfest that, while they were somewhat easy to defend compared to the thru balls from 2018, they still kinda ruined the experience. Does 2020 has any A/I issues like that? (New cheating methods n what not) From what I've heard, it's more human, which sounds good, but I've also heard that about 2018s A/I being fixed but in reality it never did. Just wanted to know if you touch on that subject ; if not, would you reply back to when you can? 👁️ Thanks for amazing content btw! I'm another one of those people that you got into the PES saga. :)

Where’s my penis? I’m playing both games and Fifa has this artificial intelligence for 3 or 4 years now. Nothing new on this video. But I love the “super cancel” option on PES and the realistic feel of moving players around, it’s more natural than in Fifa, that’s why I like to play PES more. But in terms of artificial intelligence the video is showing, the Fifa game is way ahead.

The physics are good, but the body feint got nerfed as fuck and finesse dribbling should be forgotten about for eternity. It is a joke of a dribbling system. Only way to dribble at all is skill moves, and they aren't even that reliable. Graphics are ok, but referees, oh they must be genetically inferior to normal humans. Getting penalties is almost impossible even if you get hard tackled there. It's just scripted and biased as fuck. And lmao Ronaldo has same OPR as Messi 😂😂 good one Konami.

No, the only problem with pes, also the most important thing is ball's movement, ball look light and not heavy, it make pes smooth crazily, while real life, there are many step when a player touch ball

This is what lacks in Fifa. The animations of movement on and off the ball, passing and shooting is so weird and robotic. One thing that frustrates me in Fifa is the players don’t move like real football players this is why pes gameplay will always be better than fifa
