Volume 8 is the only volume this far that both of the routes satisfied me, anyway I love how they didn't portray Tavros as a complete "crybaby, uwu soft boy".
@@professionalsleeper6281 Absolutely nothing, I am referring to the trolls, when a volume comes out it has two routes leading to a character, one feels satisfying while the other incomplete, this time I feel like both of the routes are great, an example is volume 5, Karkat's route was amazing in the other hand Kanaya's route was just ok, I didn't even feel like I accomplished her friendship, but I like her. If you refer to the "uwu soft boy" Dave and Jade aren't mischaracterized, Tavros would be. Sorry if you had to read all of this mess!
I still believe him to be a beloved dork. The inclusion of his sassy sh*t lips helps sell the route for me. Tavros sass is the best sass. It makes me hopeful for Feferi's route as well. (Though it might not even be the same writer, I can still hope and dream for it!)
Tavros’s horns are likely heavy. He could break his neck if he turned his head too fast. They would carry momentum and push it further than it needs to go. This boy can’t look to the side too fast.
I feel like tavros represents the sadness in hero's tales like Love that isnt permitted Unneeded death and despair overall betrayal And worst yet Failure
Yet Tavros also represents in my opinion the determination to push forward regardless: When Tavros lost his legs, he learned how to use a wheelchair When he lost his wheelchair, he learned how to use powerlegs When he was mercilessly killed, he pushed forward and became a shining leader that led an army against the most powerful demon in existence, even going forward and attacking Lord English himself, no matter how ineffective his attacks were. When he was prototyped with a gcat, which he thought he was allergic to, he overcame it. He did all these things because there were other people who were there for him. Tavros failed time and time again, but he never gave up, no matter how humiliating it was, no matter how painful it was to get back up after he’d fallen, he still got back up. To me, that’s what makes a hero. The ability to fall and get back up. Tavros, ironically, despite being the least confident and most submissive troll, has a level of courage and determination that none of the other trolls have.
Yet Vriska ignored his bravery and determination, seeing him as weakling that couldnt do anything without her "help". I fucking HATE that spider 8itch for killing my boy Tavros :( @@apollyonnoctis1291
Idk why but his theme reminds me of Spanishy pirate music,, like pupa running through the woods away from Captain Hook or something you’d hear in assassin’s creed black flags
In case anyone's reading this, this was actually written for Tavros, but was repurposed as a Summoner track in order to complete the Colours and Mayhem album -- so the theme just went back to its original purpose in Pesterquest! (Well-deserved, in my opinion. Colours and Mayhem really did Tavros dirty with the song he got.) Plenty of Colours and Mayhem tracks went through the same thing. Vriska's theme in the album was written with Serenity the firefly in mind, which is why the morse code messages are so out of place in it.
@@LunarLemonade huh, i knew about Vriska's song being repurposed from Serenity, but never knew this one was actually written for Tavros originally - thanks for the heads up lol
They should put Yan “Nucleose” Rodriguez on the music team at this point; they’ve made so many great tracks that have gotten reused like Superego and now this one
i dont know zelda's music as well as other nintendo games but this makes me think of gerudo valley the most :,D and anything having to do with a "darker" zelda game
This might seem a bit like, I don't know... strange (?) but my friends compare me to Tavros a lot and seeing everyone like his personality gives me a small ego boost.
Damian Xavier just pronounce strongly the z, s, c (in some occasions, not all) and rr. Also, if you’ll be talking in Spanish, remember to use only Spanish Spanish vocabulary and pronouns, otherwise it would sound weird as hell xD
I still didn't play Pesterquest (I didn't finished reading Homestuck, I'm still on Act 6 Act 3) but I want to hug Tavros. He is just so cute and looks so huggable!! X3
It's Rufioh's theme from the colors and mayhem album. Tavros does have his own theme from there, but... lets just say it wouldnt really fit the route very well.
@@tirox8834 "THERE IS A LAND THAT I KNOWWW IT IS REAL AND NOT JUST MAKE BELIEVE" Yes I know this was 3 years ago but it was too good of an opportunity to pass up
@@strategicmessager9659 also i haven't accualy read homestuck . I got into homestuck becose of the fan comics on youtube. I still know a lot of things about homestuck tho . Also also I can't wait for hiveswap act 2 .
Wait, so when does Pesterquest take place? Because Aradia is still alive but everyone else is still injured. Is Aradia's part just in the past then compared to everyone else?
I forget that I have this on my playlist and every time it rolls to this one, I am like "This sounds like Legend of Zelda, is it? *checks* Nope, it's Tavros' Theme" like.. You know his theme sounds LoZ as fuck. lol
I wanted and, the stupidest part, *promised* to do some cool stuff but it required way too much time and in the end I realized that my channel is dead for many years, I'm out of ideas and new content that I've prepared is shit if I want to come back. So, basically, it's dead forever. "Just do something else, don't put yourself in the corner", you can say. Doing something that goes against my promises makes me feel like a dick, so that's why I've never tried to make any other kind of content for my main channel.
@@wheatleymf I hope you still come back to us because I've been watching your channel for a couple of years your channel with homestuck music makes me happy
