mohamed k not true. There’s an article about him digging deep to go look for funding to support his political aspirations. He worked hard cuz had no relationship with national establishment. If you believe in grassroots from the ground, then you need to spend sometime to get to know him & his background before spreading misinformation. It’s okay that you don’t support but no need to malign a good man.

@@Mbiggz I dont think so. Buttigieg doesn't seem like the guy to brag about what he knows. He knows some Norwegian and Italian, but he never really mentioned. And yes, it may not be fluent, but it is still cool.

as someone who knows sign its pretty clear that he's not fluent/if he is learning he's newer at it. it's still fantastic tho! the Deaf community never gets much support in politics and this is super cool for d/Deaf people and others who use sign

@@noahmcguane618 yes, the wider representation is good. Also, I would assume that he is not fluent, but it is still amazing.

Being barely conversational in a lot of languages literally does nothing to help a president's job. If anything it can cause problems. He might misunderstand a foreign leader because he thinks he knows the language instead of trusting the professional interpreter who can translate nuances and hidden meanings.

Joseph Vikre no doubt he’s a good guy, but if you go on his website, he does not have much on policy. To me that is a huge red flag.

It’s nice to have someone compassionate , but I think most Americans need to understand that the most important thing a presidential candidate should have is a plan.

Joseph Vikre also, he is the only top 20 democratic presidential candidate to take money from lobbyists.

Visibility is a fine step to be sure, and we certainly lack visibility in today's government. But can you forward me to some of buttigieg's policies? It doesnt seem like he's *really* for the people.

Reminds of the visibility Bill Clinton gave to the black community. Carrying and kissing black babies while campaigning only to turn and pass welfare reform and crime bill which undoubtedly has been detrimental to the black and brown community. Thank you Pete Buttigieg for being kind enough to support some people with impediments medical treatment but not all as in a medicare for all. Same can be said for supporting free college and university for everyone including people with physical impediments who normally wouldn't be able to afford it. Pete is so kind he's been been holding secret meetings with big money interests to plan a surprise party for Bernie.

I’m sure he is a well intentioned guy, but our nation is in a state of crisis. Hope is one thing but feeling peaceful should be one of the last things a president should make you feel.

Timothy McShea I get a lot more done when I’m feeling peaceful then when I’m feeling angry. I can use my energy more constructively and efficiently. I can focus. Peaceful does not equal sedentary, stoned, disinterested or complacent.

@@stellashepherd844 yeah that mentality kind of sucks the whole Bernie or nothing thing. For a little while I was kind of opposed to Bernie like last month because he was being super anti-trump and he didn't really have any other talking points but this month he's been pretty positive and turned his message around pretty well. However I got to say my favorite so far is Beto O'Rourke for sure! He's pretty cool 😁 pete is probably my number 2 I didn't really have the best time at his rally it was the one in Marshalltown Iowa you might have heard of it there was a guy dressed up as Satan on a loudspeaker. It was kind of funny at first and I thought it was a creative way to protest. But he got kind of offensive as the rally went on. I'm just glad he wasn't trying to talk over Pete cuz that would have been even more annoying. When I was at Betos rally though oh my it was pretty great I feel like he went over a lot more of his policies too. But they're both strong candidates I'm just excited for what the future holds 😁 and it's awesome to see so many awesome candidates to choose from. I think my favorite things about Pete are the fact that he wants to abolish the Electoral College and the housing first initiative that he supports. I haven't done a ton of research on it but I watched Adam Conover cover it a little bit on his Adam ruins everything Show when he was dishing out some hard truths about the Housing Industry😂 anyway I'm just bored on these comment sections have a nice night.

@J. Smart Yes, but I think we ought to be appreciative of the amazing qualities of all the best candidates. Elizabeth Warren is a brilliant fighting force. Bernie stands in authenticity and candor. Pete shows up with heart and directness. It would be amazing if we could select a candidate without destroying the others in the process.
