Trust me, as a citizen of South Bend, IN, he has a LOT to answer for to black Americans for the things that ended up happening in our city during his mayoral administration. The racial disparity in marijuana arrests, there were no black leaders appointed in his administration, and the black police chief getting in trouble for recording his subordinates on tape because they were making racist comments. I'd want Pete to run for President, and I'd love for him to win, but being gay is not going to overshadow how well he handles the GOP's nonsense, it's going to be his legitimately awful record with black Americans.

not really. Buttegieg is also not well informed or he's not telling you the reality of EV technology and its flaws. He's spinning things to make it sound great, when it's not all a bed of roses. EV battery technology has a ways to go before I would buy into it. Charging stations are still sparse and not reliable and their prices fluctuate based on charging prices at the moment. Meaning, you can pay less in the middle of the night and then pay a premium price in the day time. Gasoline prices don't flucuate nearly as quickly. Also, if charging at peak times, it can cost just as much to charge an EV, which gets worse range than ICE, ESPECIALLY when towing a vehicle.
