As an L.A. Native, I am glad to know that Pete Rose actually lives here in Los Angeles. Although I hated him with the Cincinnati Reds while following the Dodgers, Charlie Hustle was definately the reason why The Big Red Machine was going strong during the 1970's. And also without him, the Phillies would have never won their only World Championship in 1980(Before last year's World Series win). The Phillies, and all of Philadelphia better be kissing Pete Rose's Ass right about now!

I just think it is crazy that he would bet on his team when he is the one coaching it. He says he always bet for his team to win, but who knows except Pete?

Need to let Pete in the HOF or atleast on the Ballot, he never bet against his Reds ever, betted for them sure, but never against.
