Hi Tomas, I hope you are doing well. I finally have the chance to go to London. Unfortunately this exhibition has ended but do you know any place in London that show Peter Doig's work as one of their permanent collection? Thank you.

Thank you so much for doing this video. I am interested in this exhibition too but I live in Norfolk and going to London is not possible for me at the moment. Will you be visiting the After Impressionism exhibition at the National Gallery?

The style is a postmodern take on van gogh ensor and others. This particular ambience has interesting moments yet most of the works seem unfinished and more decorative that fulfilling some inner purpose of the artist. Some would say that this is their allure, but i find them annoying and lacking depth. The one in the boat is probably the best allong with some others. But as with Hockneys work i find this drawing style unfinished and too general in character but they're nice for what they are i guess. Definitely an artist who could do way more but stops himself from going deeper because of sales thinking. Cool possibilities in abstract-ambient dreamy fantasy landscape.

You don't need any experience prior to studying fine art, you just need to prepare a decent portfolio. The real question is what do you think it will teach you? Fine art bas here in the UK pretty much have no practical aspects to the course so you won't learn about materials, painting etc it's all just about discussing ideas.
