@@angelmoreno8141 That's a sweet compliment, I'm just here to share some of my free time with some fans and remind them how much I appreciate their support,so I want you to know that I appreciate you and I care,so how long have you been listening my music?
I loved him back in 1976 when I was 19. I told my Mom, all I wanted was the Frampton Comes Alive album for Christmas. One thing about Peter Frampton, he always smiled throughout his whole concerts. I like that. He still does.
I believe the reason Peter Frampton is always smiling on stage is that he TRULY loves music and performing. A genuine musician who I feel should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
My worst yet favorite memories of frampton comes alive was during the blizzard of 76/77. I drove nonstop from Hickory N.C. to oklahoma. Heater in my car broke in the smokie mtns. I wrapped up in a blanket and drove sometimes only able to go 15 mph. Smoking my bong, drinking TJ Swann wine and listened to this song over and over all the way. I was 17 and had a fight with my dad in Hickory. Went to stay with my grandma in okie land. Peter Frampton was along for the ride 😂 😂 😂
OMG- TJ Swan! The sickest I’ve ever been was a night of too much TJ, never enuff Frampton and all the Stacy with a ‘Y’ that I could muster in the back seat of a ‘75 Gran Torino on a Coquina Beach night, Florida ‘77.
After what you described (or confessed to) you were fortunate not to kill yourself or others. I submit you had someone else besides Peter Frampton riding with you.
@@mjc11a pot back then was nowhere near as potent as this crap today and it was just me and Frampton. I confess nothing. Just stating facts. Obviously , no harm, no foul. Hard to have a wreck on an almost empty interstate where your top speed was 20 mph due to ice and snow. Get over it.
Peter Frampton was born to play live. Along with his guitar brilliance, he radiates infectious joy for what he’s doing which raises it all to such heights! Thank you! ❤❤❤
Frampton Comes Alive was one of the greatest live albums to ever be produced. Peter Frampton 'popped' from mid-level audiences to selling out 60,000 seat stadiums after this album hit. I think Peter Frampton is an amazing guitarist/performer and he is in my top 3 all-time favorite Rock Stars. He may have become a much bigger star if it had not been for the upcoming competition. Around that same time "Hotel California" album dropped. The Eagles went on to have the greatest selling album of the 20th century(Greatest Hits). 1978 introduced us to Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. It literally took those TWO people to usurp Frampton's stardom. Let's not forget that "Dark Side of the Moon" also arrived around this time. Frampton, like Clapton or Hendrix or Stevie Ray, was the complete package. Love you, Peter!
A unique peice of magic... As were so many in the 70's.. when someone says "They don't write'm like that anymore.." they are sadly right.. the greatest period of Rock music.. it's Apex..
For my 16th birthday May 3td 1976 I got Frampton comes Alive that July I saw this concert live at JFK STADIUM with 130.ooo people a experience I still hold on to 48 years later god bless Peter Frampton
Each time I hear this song it inches up my list of all time favourite songs (its in the Top 10 now and still climbing). The unadulterated joy that Frampton shows in his performances is absolutely infectious. This guys KNOWS, he doesn't just play. You just know when you are watching someone doing what they were put on the Earth to do. The album version is the greatest live song ever recorded. Thos guys were all in a ZONE that night.
Can't tell you the thousands of times I heard this on the radio in the mid to late 70s. Didn't think I'd ever ever see a live version. I didn't think it existed. Thank you.
The consummate artist, and a truly genuine and decent human being. The world is a much better place since he first joined our ranks here on planet Earth. Thank you, Peter Frampton, for bringing so much love and joy to so many!
I’m mid 50’s listening to rock music since I can remember. All these years I can say he is on another level of singer, player, song writing higher than his peers he says he learned by. He created masterpieces that will continue on for people to enjoy for centuries like Mozart or Beethoven. Born to spread his joy through the hand of God!
Super cool, brought me back to my days in SoCal when the album first hit in 1976 - I would skateboard up and down the strand in Manhattan Beach and it seemed like everyone was blasting it out their beach house windows - 70's, what a glorious time to be a teenager... \m/
I just saw Frampton last week in Marin at the Civic center where he recorded part of " Comes Alive" It was truly a magical night. He was at his best. He is a true guitar god.
I saw Peter Frampton live at the Los Angeles Coliseum when I was a teenager. I had a good seat, way on the side, probably 50 or more rows from the stage. But, at least I could see him. What I remember most is how kind he was. There were people who bought tickets that were behind the stage, so all that they could see was the back of the performers. Diehard fans. I felt so sorry for them. Then, Peter turned around and played to them specifically. The whole crowd went wild for his compassion. I'll never forget that. It just made him that much more amazing.
Refreshing. Back when guitarist had to step on their own effects pedals to get their sounds. saw Mr Frampton at Eisenhower Hall, West Point, NY 1976. Poisette Dart Band opened. Great show!
This is still as awesome as it was almost 40 years ago. Passes the test of time. Thank you to Howard Stern for having Peter on to remind me of his great work. My now teenage son also loved it.
Wow. Finally get to see Bob Mayo in his prime. What a great upload. And RIP Bob. Time may take the great musicians from us. But it can never take away the music.
Saw Frampton at Madison Square Garden in NY prob. around '78 or so ... E P I C !!!! And he's STILL epic!! Enjoys playing and performing so much - you can see it in his face !
A talented guitarist: he always conveyed his talent and exhuberance in "live performance". Very similar to JP in concert performance personality. Still have the "double live album"! TFS
I think that the "Do you feel like we do?" version from the 1976 album "Frampton Comes Alive" is the BEST ONE. I'm finding hard to believe that there's no video recording of THAT BEST VERSION.
I am very lucky, I have the whole 1976 live concert recorded in my mind from watching it so many times, and sometimes it just comes on playing in my head out of the blues. LOL.
i was about 6 or 7 and would sneak in my older sisters room and put those big old headphones on and rock out to this whole album,,thanks Sharon n Beth for listening to great music....love ya
I can picture the conversation at the record company."There's this skinny kid Frampton , plays the guitar. Think we should give him a deal ?" $200,000,000 later. " I knew he'd be a star."
This guy has real talent, and a sense of humor. He is able to put on a good show without using foul language or self indulgence. No dope wiggers or dumpster diggers today that are labeled "artist" even begin to reach the level of raw energy achieved by Peter Frampton during the 1970 era.
Look at that massive set of keys he’s playing, a hyped up organ and that was it, the great sounds. Half of them use laptops now, those types need to be slapped. Play a real instrument if you want to make music is what I say to that. I forgot about this song. Had a crush on Peter. That was 100 years ago. Doesn’t doesn’t look like I remembered. He did have great hair. He still looks good now for a now, for an old guy! Where was he born? iTunes has nothing in him. Usually they don’t have info about newer artists or not well known ones. He’s a classic, what’s up with that anyway? He had fun using that thing to make sounds. Was watching him sing I want you and doing that before this. Pretty cool to watch.
Listen to the audience,They dont stop for one second.Thats says It all!!!You have the great records to refer to.These guys were fantastic In every sense of the word!!!You had to be there,And I was!!!
Its mine. Without a doubt. Not the most overly complex solo but it is just constructed like an EPIC movie. I can't think of another solo that ends with such a degree of awesomeness. That end lick is just out of the park!!!
The very first one to introduce the auto tune. But it sounded so much better when he did it. Thanx Peter for such great memories. PETER FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE. One of the best live albums to ever own. He was so fine on the cover of that album, and on rolling stone magazine. Will never forget you man.
Original version of "Do You Feel Like We Do" released in 1973 on the album "Frampton's Camel." The well-known and long version, with talkbox, of this song was first released in 1976 on "Frampton Comes Alive!" - the performance was taped and recorded at SUNY (State University of New York) November 22, 1975. However, this version, at 14 minutes on the LP, was halved for single release.
WOW!!!! CAN THIS ❤️ GUY ROCK OR WHAT??????😁😁😎😎🎶🎶🎵🎵 LOVE YOU PETER 💙❤️!!!!!! IT'S 2019 AND I STILL FEEL LIKE YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!🎼🎼😘😘😘 ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE I DO???????😁😁😁🎶🎶🎶😘
Miss the days of everyone loving/having fun..and there's no way to show the younger generation how cool it was because we raised them to be materialistic/clique-based and defend that status for anything. Back in our day, we were all friends, nothing like that mattered at all-where you lived, what you wore, nothing....and now our kids cling to those things as "their identity".
