I started reading " Lord of the rings " when I was 11 or 12. My sister had "Frampton comes alive" in her record collection, and I read the passage through the mines of Moria with " I'll give you money" as a soundtrack. I don't know why, but this song will forever be carved in my memory as the perfect soundtrack to any cave visit I'll ever do. So this is dedicated to all you Neanderthals out there. Cheers.
One of my favorite guitar licks of all time. This double album came out at the same time as Todd Rundgren's Back to the Bars. For a solid year, on the campus of Ohio University you had those 2, PLUS Genesis's double album Second's Out. Wipes me out just typing this. Fantastic year or two for live albums.!!
Bridgette, I'm not sure you got the right person who filmed this but I appreciate you loving it! I used, believe it or not, a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone to film. My wife and daughters, who I cannot thank enough, made it possible for us to be there with the most wonderful Father's day gift of seeing Peter Frampton live in Cleveland. :)
There was a full moon this night too... the 'Super Moon'... you might see it over the Lorain Avenue Bridge in the backround... insignificant, I know. It just added to the awesomeness of the evening!!
