I want to thank you so much for all the contribution you gave to enrich the art of music. You are part of a group of few artists that I completely admire. I didn’t buy the book yet, but I could feel the person so amazing, humble and respectful you are. I was only able to see you in concert only three times. Once on your first time in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, and two times in US (Florida and Texas). Unbelievable, but at the same time, unforgettable. We never know what God has in the future for us, but for sure, as He promised, “The best is still to come!”. May God’s Love be with you, and you with Him all the time, as usual. Once again, thank you very much! -Max and Telma- Texas
I just read the first two pages! Oh, Lord, I learn something new everyday (or so it seems). Imagine my surprise to learn that Mr. Peter Frampton sent my earliest childhood friend to Caracas, Venezuela, in search of his 1954 Les Paul, that, alas, died in a plane crash. 'JD', after working for Mr. Frampton, would go on to work for Prince (among others). He was there when Prince recorded his 'Purple Rain'. Then 'JD', 35 years later, showed up at my brother's deathbed the day before. My later older brother was also a singer/songwriter/ guitarist. 'JD' and I (along with my brother) had another childhood friend who worked for David Bowie on his 'Glass Spider' tour. His name was Joey. He once recovered a Les Paul guitar for my brother (this was in Boston some years back) that had been stolen from him. My brother then played that guitar that same evening when his band was opening for Aerosmith. Oh, it just came back to me; where I was (and with whom) the first time I heard 'Frampton Comes Alive'! But that's another story for another day.
That was a great tune Peter when rock music was for real and had feeling and meaning. We’ve got to bring it back somehow. Thanks for being such an inspiration.
I got the book yesterday on audible I am on chapter 5...... I really do like Peter Frampton a lot I even got to spend 3 quiet closed hours with him in conversation of course I got the book the 2nd I saw that it was on audible .....But I have to give you some advice; that is you should have taken at least 5 toastmasters classes before you wrote the book and it would have pulled out all the "issues you have in writing" the partner that you have in writing he didn't help you out because the book "Does not flow".... It's a "mishmash" of words and sentences you could have done so much better, you're too much of an icon and you mean too much to us to have written the book in this way...... Of course I will keep it and finish it of course I will always adore your music..... And the kind words you've said to me when we spoke together but I do have to say if you write another book please get a better assistant and take it least 5 classes with toastmasters I'm not saying to be a public speaker because you already are..... I am saying to "help you with your wording" "your choice of words" "how you come across" ....♡♡
Wow Pete, those are some seriously soy-guzzling glasses. I'll make you a deal: I'll buy your book if you seek immediate testosterone replacement therapy.🤣🤣
