Frampton singing a great track 'You' from Frampton Comes Alive 2 recorded at The Fillmore, San Francisco on June 15 1995. A song that wasn't on the original 'Frampton Comes Alive'
I'm so envious of those of you who live in America and can see Peter Frampton live on a regular basis. Over here in Britain, we've been starved of his great music since the late seventies. At least we now have RU-vid, but it's annoying to discover just what we've been missing of Peter for 25 years!
I turn 65 feb this year and am still infatuated with the man, his looks etc. and his music😜 I and my late husband of 45 years; saw the Cape Cod concert, “Frampton comes alive” one summer in the 70’s. Flippin fantastic🤩😍😘😘😗❣️❣️he wanted to be known for his guitarwork, not his persona. Flippin adore this performer! Ouch😁😁😁
yes, a friend of mine who lives in London sent me a rare bit of film today in the mail- him and Bowie walking around - not many know that he and Bowie were friends - Both of them - i think had a bit of the 'fae' magic in them - for being delightful, creative and of great natural charisma - - - Frampton unfortunately sort of got forgotten - but growing up surrounded by musicians i chose my own music that i liked - mostly guitarists and writers with a different flare than the others - Frampton taught himself how to play before the age of 10 - that's just good for starters.
Peter Frampton was the greatest phenomenon in rock history, he was the first artist to sell a live album in millions copies, before Peter Frampton live albums didn't sell much, Kiss sold half million copies from their first live album from 1975, it was considered as a big success, the album Frampton Comes Alive from 1976 was the best seller live album for more than 30 years, just in the last years a country artist from the USA passed him, Frampton Comes Alive from 1995 was not as successful as the first one but it is still a great live album as we can see and hear from that specific track, thanks for sharing.
This is one of my all time favorite Frampton songs. The words make me cry when I think about my fiancé and I. It's perfect! Really hoping to incorporate it into our wedding somehow!
I just love Frampton! I'm a 61 yrs old gal from Melbourne Australia. The music today is crap, I'm so glad I grew up in the era that I did because the music was brilliant, and still is!!
Peter Framptor one of the greatest artistas from Britain and Usa, Fantastic Rock m Roll man, what a beutiful pop sound roco I am your fan Mr. Frampton because high quality of your work on music, thanks for masterpieces just like this one, Thanks for posting Huuuggss. I am from Brasil roghtt..?..
Peter's playing of that Telecaster guitar... no one I've heard in the last 40 years of music, has ever made THAT sound from that instrument! BADASS! Telecasters have been tradionally been reserved for country and rhythm.
Um, also Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaugh... and a few other "obscure" guitarists you might have heard of actually played them, believe it or not!! You should look them up, they made some good music!!! ;O)
I saw his at a small club in San Juan Capistrano and he was terrific. We forget that he was almost comletely gone for a while, the beginning of his real resurgance 1994. Coach House. Great Night.
That jam should have gone on for another 5 minutes. At least. It ends so damn abruptly. I mean I understand the concept of leaving people wanting more, but man. That really should have led to more improvisational melodic places. Ugh. Incredible energy, deep longing and powerfully dynamic guitar and emotion. Gut wrenching. I just get overwhelmed by this particular version.
Is so amazing he play like clapton cry and hendrix to he sing whith a tenor voice:-)! nothing can compete this guy he blow the hardrock cafe and blues style to heaven !!!!!!!!!!! aswome all the songs to :-)
Hey Mark, i love it so much I've just bought the DVD - it's brilliant!! Many thanks to you and others for posting these great videos, you've helped me to "re-discover" Peter Frampton - and reminded me how much I love him and his music!!
A LIVING LEGEND SO NICE TO HAVE YOU WITH US PETER THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT GREAT MUSIC AND FOR BEING A GREAT PERSON. Also thanks for posting this video so great.

Now when is on the radio and I am driving, I open the windows put volume to the top and enjoy the talking guitar is out of this world, thank you. Ian Yernaz 56
Yes, I had to be there to see this beautifull song played for Peter. I have this forever , in my DVD, Good ! For me, is one of your best musics. What guitar !
August - 2011!!! Frampton live (yet again), after a 30+ year fascination with his sound, skill and that awesome, ear-shattering bliss that can only be experienced up close and personal. Disappointing he’s been overlooked so often when he continually pulls off this kind of energy and puts on a performance that makes you glad you were there the first time around. Just goes to prove, age is simply a number! So, Whitesnake in July and Peter in August…I can deal with that. Thanks for the post!
AAh, It is so nice, I can rememer whem I was a child around my 12 yrs old, I am a Brazilian Fan, and always will carry with with tnder, Mr Framptos s songs, they say too much things to me. Thanks. A Huge Hug, friends..bye..
We only have 12 musical notes how come Peter seems to find so many more than anyone else. You is so exciting I always want to play it as loud as possible.

My wife and I saw the La Luna show in Portland. We were right at the barricade in the front, it was an unforgettable night, still think about how great the entire band was that night! We've seen him about 4 or 5 times since then, always stellar!
I saw this tour in person and they were incredibly loud and awesome with the new material and all their toys! Only one other lead player comes close to Frampton and that's my lead guitar player hubby who's getting ready to play a huge venue with Thin LIzzy at Rocklahoma in July!
