I'm trying to figure out which rolling light stand he is using so i can order the big and small just like he has. Could you save me a phone call and list them here somewhere please? I don't think he mentions them specifically like he does the lights, tripod, etc.
Peter Hurley easily one of the finest portrait photographers of our time - yes the results - but his ability to demonstrate complex knowledge in a simple way is the sign of his true genius - The man got back to me the same say when i reached out and his advice was perfect. Thankyou B& H for all of your hard work and excellent standards - you have literally kept us going
Love Peter Hurley. Who better to sell the last of the B&H M50 inventory? I absolutely love these product informercials. Everyone knows the M mount is dead.
Amen on always shooting raw. * My main two objections to Photoshop's new nural skin retouching filter is that it's too heavy handed and includes a lot of blurring. I usually reduce blur to 0. Second, it works only on the face. So on a woman, or man, with rough skin the results looks like a head replacement. And, smoothing the shoulders, arms, etc. manually never matches the nural filter. That looks odd.
Hi Mr. Hurley, I was hoping from the thumbnail image that this video would contain a model with white hair. Having trouble with exposure and lighting on people with grey/white hair. Any chance you could do a segment on that would be appreciated.
For me Peter Hurley is a genius of marketing. Because with all due respect but the photos that come out with this set up and lighting style are just boring. Very flat and static. And skin tones horrible. But he guy sells them anyway.
This is B&H Photo…. And the best Quality video they can offer on their video is 1080p??? That’s kind of sad and pathetic. Not a good selling point guys. 2460p60 fps hdr or 4320p120 HDR10+ would be better
RU-vid's HDR workflow sucks and the point of this is not for the highest resolution, it's moreover for how to actually do these things. Also I think you mean 1440p and 2160p. Typically measured using the short side of the screen IE: 480p, 720p, 1080p. Sometimes overkill is just overkill.
