Thanks for providing the date. I figured out it was January from the mentions of the month by the announcer, then Michael Parks' promo for his THEN CAME BRONSON series (1969-70) put it in 1970.
The announcer plugs President Nixon’s first State of the Union address the following day (Thursday, January 22, 1970) at 12:30 pm Eastern (9:30 am Pacific). I didn’t realize that afternoon SOTU speeches were common at that time. I think they’ve all been in prime time since 1976.
