I’m glad they cut it honestly. It should’ve been earlier in the movie, if anything. This song is basically telling us everything we already knew about Hook up to this point. Would’ve fit better if he sang this to Jane as they were making the treasure deal in the forest. Like a Poor Unfortunate Souls reassurance to Jane that Hook was a good person.

It's a shame this scene was shelved, the music is in character with the villain 😅😅😏🤭😌(extremely well composed in my opinion), I don't understand this argument that it would "extend" the film.
