Sounds like Bollywood. They just spontaneously break into a choreographed dance routine, whether it’s a murder a scene, a love scene or a crime scene...
yeah some kids do, but some friends of my kids don't have anywhere near that. For it to become a craze then everyone has to be able to easily afford it, like Fidget Spinners or from when I was a kid Pogs, Football Stickers & Yoyos.
Mine certainly dont. Mine have standard no name headphones coz they break, loose or get nicked. Same with the phone. The only thing with a recognisable name is footware.
@Jonathan Murray well its £14.99 so it's fifteen POUNDS not bucks so its between $20 and $25 depending on the exchange rate so it's not a massive difference but it is slightly more than you thought . Also remember it's just a bit of putty not the headphones, so 20 bucks for a bit of putty is a lot for kids, maybe not older teenagers so much as they may have a paper route or saturday job or a bigger allowance from their parents etc but 20 bucks is a bit if there are say 3 kids in the household so their parents are paying 60 bucks out now.
@Jonathan Murray no worries mate I was just pointing out (as I'd assumed you were in usa or Canada) that it is more than fifteen dollars as it's English money so it's closer to twenty in your money and as it's only a bit of putty and not the earphones it is quite expensive for kids.
@@Ownage4lif31 -- What comment is that? I can't see what one you're referring to. But either way, I looked up the company name on a company checker, found EarCandi Ltd that had directors with the same names as these guys and it said it was dissolved after 1 year. Also, the few they sold didn't have good reviews, and independent reviews didn't seem to like them either.
The opening dance routine was like the local youth group doing a show at the local old folks home. The faces of the Dragons were of wonderment and confusion.
@@FlyboyHelosim did anything forced them to buy their product! Or did dragon stoping them, they came for investment so dragons have right to say about price
Peter is spot on and I totally agree . Why would you want to cover up your expensive earphones with some play dough , besides, like Peter said companies are constantly improving the fit. Both are nice guys but sadly not a good business idea!!!
Besides, these are probably better for the ears, as (I assume) they don't create a suction effect when pulled out, unlike earplugs. It can cause hearing loss, especially in ppl who have had ear infections or other risk factors.
I gym almost daily, do backflips etc. , and my earphones never fall out. They aren't even expensive either. And I have a few kinds of headphones, none fall
@@zekieblons7547 Downside to inner ear tech is the immediate danger to your hearing. It is much, much worse than traditional in ear headphones which are bad enough. I'm surprised they did not counter argue Peter on this matter.
Yes, however: 1) not everyone can afford wireless earphones that are of good quality and number 2) wireless earphones can not only fall out, but it is very easy for them to get lost. This brand also has vibrant branding so it is difficult to lose.
What they could have done to make this better (before their company dissolved in 2016, after a year of selling) was to also include some plastic pieces that you could stamp to the outside of the mould, so it takes a nice shape. They could literally add like 5 tiny pieces of plastic with the package, all with different shapes/ engravings etc. That you could simply stamp the mould with to give it a nice finish
@@TheAazah I think that they both have different reasons to get them and are actually quite different in usage and they both have there very different problems separate from each other so in my opinion they actually do have a good reason to be called differently.

@@RenegadeGaruda Duncan only ever seems to be interested in investing when it's bar/pub or gambling-related. He has a very shallow field of investment and doesn't branch out into other types of businesses which is understandable since he comes from nothing, he made his own money, he knows what works best for him and wants to keep playing safe by not messing around with risky ideas but, other than his snarky/snide remarks which are funny, I find his style as an investor a bit boring for this show.
@@RenegadeGaruda he's been taking lessons from Jenny, it's much more business savvy to enjoy the free water there and find an exit strategy whilst getting paid for it than actually invest in some of the junk on the show.
maybe not in the UK, but in Hungary that would've equaled about 6500 forints (+-300, too lazy to look up exact change rate), which either equals or more than what people spend on headphones on average (many people use cheap, probably around 3-10 gbp headphones) and that added cost would be substantial. I don't and practically can't use in-ear headphones, so I'm not the right guy to evaluate even the possibility of its practicality and efficiency in long term, but even if I wanted to use that style of headphones, I would just do what I'm already doing: spare that money and spend it on a good pair of headphones instead of an accessory for them
@@grzzltn well the biggest thing is, especially in today's market like Peter said, most earbuds have been designed well enough to not fall out while doing things. I have a pair of Samsung Buds+ that come with 3 different ear pieces, a long extended lip for extra large ears, a smaller lip for slightly smaller ears, and then just a plain band around the earphone with no lip (the lip is the part where it will hold right above your ear canal, its kinda hard to explain it, but its like a wing tip), and I go between the plain circle band for when I'm just casually using them, and the smaller wing tip with a lip for if I'm exerting energy while using them. And those tips work perfectly fine on their own, without being custom molded to my ear.
@@grzzltn Sorry, I just wanted to get you to bite. Sometimes I need a good troll. In the U.S. I believe it’s called ‘breaking balls’. Yes, of course I know Hungary isn’t a third world country. England might be but Hungary certainly isn’t, and that’s largely because of your prime minister. You’re lucky to have him I think, I just hope the coronavirus powers he has now doesn’t change or corrupt him. Good luck! 🤓
I feel that they've missed a massive market. Surfers suffer from a condition called surfers ear. Travelers could use this as a small ear piece to communicate without distraction. These could also be used in workplaces with noise issues and combined with Bluetooth ear buds communication would still be possible. As far as the look the outer area could be customised to the individual taste.
Tbh most bluetooth headphones and earbuds come with active noise cancelling, sure you have to fork out a little more for these than your average cheap pair of £10 in ears, but you can get some decent noise cancelling on the cheap nowadays.
Honestly Peter is right on the money, earphones have any number of attachments nowadays and sporting ones have over ear hooks to keep them from coming out, in comparison i'd hate to use something like this that adds more area of contact within the ear. Plus the whole DIY aspect, completely depends on the customer, if people can manage to create something they prefer over existing fittings for this price then more power to them, but that's a minority of people.
I am silicon and custom-moulded to each unique crevice. I am guaranteed not to fall out, even with strenuous movement. But the ear I am in is Jenny's. So, as a result, I'm out.
Is it really? Have found one pair of headphones for running that actually won't fall out and they have a cable that wraps around the back of my neck, and a frame that sits over the ear. None of the fully Wireless earbuds have worked for me
I’ve owned several silicon moulding setups for in ear headphones over the years. Nothing new there. Most motorbike rallies i go to there’s usually a stall selling them. Excellent noise suppression.
ONCE AGAIN!!! Kelly "no money broke ass," Hoppen is out. Her reason for being out? She loves it, she can see it making money but for that reason sadly.....she's out.
I think Duncan was out because he thought the product was unattractive and he didnt want to hurt the entrepreneurs feelings. The moment Peter said it though, Duncan reaction....priceless 7:01
I'm not even an athlete and most earphones I've tried fall out more than they stay in. And it's impossible to know before you buy since you can't really try on earphones before buying them. I would've bought this for 15£
@@boberson83 really? AirPods are perfect, and there are jogging earphones which wrap around the ear. They never fall out anymore. I think you have outdated earphones perhaps
@@boberson83 True but then there are earbud pieces to accommodate that, using memory foam, thicker materials, etc. For most people finding the right fit is relatively easy, so long as they stay in during the average day to day activities.
The sounds of the shoes tapping and stuff and the squeaky as flooring 😂 shark tank has so much music you don't notice it here you notice the lip smacking, all the inhales lmao hahaha
Just a tip for anyone doing a presentation; it might sound like a good idea to wow someone unprepared, but they also miss the context of what is going on. If they had said first that it was about the earbuds and THEN the breakdance would have started randomly, it would have allowed the dragons to evaluate the effectiveness of those earbuds and know what to look for, as well as knowing why they're looking at it.
Yeah, because the lack of context is what made them fail to get an investment from a Dragon, never mind that there aren't millions of people that breakdance. 🤣🤦🏻♂
I've been wearing behind the ear hearing aids since I was 3 months old, they use the exact same process to make the in-ear fittings, and let me tell you there is NOT a "100% guarantee" that they will stay in the ear during "activities".
Imagine being stuck in a tornado and you want to listen to a bit of music! All Peter's earphones that grip the inner ear will fail, but earcandy will hold fast!
The mold on the ear in that demonstration looked absolutely, weirdly terrible; like some extra skin growth over the ear. 10x more ugly than the airpods & I consider airpods to be quite ugly.
It’s safe to say that Wes Grafton is indeed legitimate after a succession of payouts. I have no doubts investing more, he even turned down my gift token and asked me to give it to charity saying, “God has blessed with everything I need, be His servant and help the less fortunate”
I advise beginners, and regular traders encountering difficulties learning and earning. you can... *Wesgrafton(a) g ma il. c om* ... and avoid mistakes as a beginner as he’s taking new investors and charges only 25% Commission for his services.
Debra is cute. She is the only one who doesn't make annoyed faces when there is a unique / musical / dance pitch. They demonstrated from the onset what can be expected from the earphones. It was great!! But all the others looked so dreary at the beginning.
From over here in Canada; I love this far more subtle harshness of the British. Rather than just calling them fools this British show has a way of diving into far deeper reasons for why these "entrepreneurs" suck
I don't know how this guys ear buds fall out, I've had it happen when taking my ATV helmet off but not when running. I've had several and running is one of my hobbies, never had this issue, raycons, and basic 40 dollar wireless are far more worth it and already established.
See, custom moulded earbuds are a thing and they're a premium product, but they're intended for comfort and sound isolation. They usually cost an absolute shitload to make properly, so fifteen quid DIY jobbies make me sceptical.
@@silvershocknicktail6638 Apparently it was dissolved after one year of operation and the few products they managed to sell didn't have raving reviews.
