As a kid I thought that movie was so serious & intense. As an adult is so campy and dumb lol. Still have a soft spot for it.

Peter Svidler is a player and commentator respected by all for good reason. He mentions the last round of Candidates 2013 where he defeated Magnus in the last round, apparently ending the Norwegian's chance to win the tournament as rival Kramnik was still playing and in a good position versus Ivanchuk. But Caissa intervened, Kramnik lost and Carlsen won the right to challenge Anand. The rest is history.

I saw Gukesh and Firouzja during quick post-game interviews with that cute blonde (I am sorry her name escapes me right now, but I found she did a great job at interviewing, as she does here with Svidler). I also walked right pass Caruana at one point, and had a glimpse at a couple of non-playing GMs too.

Nice to see Peter..one of my favourite personalities from the chess world.Always a pleasure to listen to him.However,there was not one word about Pragg?Found that a tad odd.I blame the interviewer more because she dint ask Peter one question on Pragg and his role as Pragg's second.

With that amount of tension I wouldn't want my second answering interview questions about me and giving potential hints to my opposition. And Peter is always interesting whatever the questions are.
