Ah, thank you so much for sharing this! Vinogradov's vision is a true milestone that lives up to the original choreography. And the lead dancer is brilliant.
Whatever this does it has very little to do with the story and action in Petrushka. Transforming it into some solo vehicle for one dancer to prance around everyone else throughout has resulted in a total disaster visually. The music is well performed but the director should be sacked. This is near hopeless when there are much better productions out there. Orchestra 7/10 Ballet 1/10
This performance gives a principally new sight in Petrushka's narrative: the free menestrel against the cruelty. Without concretic of personages. Great contemporary composition.
