I was already sold on the game from first hearing you were making it, but everything I hear from you guys about it just makes it that much better. Your studio is probably my favorite indie studio around right now and I can't wait for this game to release.
Looks awesome, I always appreciate when game developers share the behinds the scenes on RU-vid or wherever, and you guys and Crashlands were one of my biggest influences for getting into game dev in the first place!
Ahhhhh I can't wait for Crashlands 2 to come out! I've played the demo and I'm itching for more! The graphics look fantastic and I can't wait for the new story, bosses, pets, NPCs, biomes, basically everything. I started listening to the podcast from the beginning and it's great listening to through making the first Crashlands (I'm literally at the beginning. LOL!) 🤩🤩🤩
Holy Shenanigans, that looks and sounds fantastic. The builds you enabled in Crashlands 1 were fantastic already then, but you even butter it up for us? Pets now have masteries? You can chose when to use the ability? Pets now have more story to them, with even more relevant info? Amazing, you‘re giving it your all, I‘m glad to see such a mindblowing feature being added to the game. Can‘t wait for the release! Thanks for your hard work! ❤
I love all the hype and all the things you’ve done so far! I hope this game comes in the near future and when it does I’ll be gaming Crashlands 2 a lot since I still to this day play Crashlands 1! Great job guys! You’re one of my favorite companies of all time! You’re hyping this game up the perfect way and I love all the humor, additions, graphics, new content and features that hopefully will be added! 👊

Ok but this begs the question… Can you teach the pets to fish? I need to be able to bring my widdlewompittyshoobidy dooblop on my fishing excursions once the full game releases. Speaking of fishing, 10 hour fishing montage when?
Hey Butterscotch will there be a mobile port for this game? My PC recently broke and I replayed levelhead and crashlands on mobile and ofc loved them! Hoping for a mobile port for CL2 although ik its still early
Can't wait for Crashlands but better. And I don't know if someone would respond to this, but will it be a lot less RNG dependent? Since the new pet system seems to be going this way.
We're going for a more "authored" experience across the whole game. For Crashlands 1 we were a tiny team just a couple years into game development, so we had to lean heavily on RNG to build the game. This time around we have a lot more experience, a lot more time, and a bigger team, so we can handcraft way more of the game. The world map in particular is fully authored, unlike in the original (where there were handcrafted locations spread around a randomly-generated world).
Today when I played crashlands i just realised that we're going so slow in the game we can't escape the monster then I'm dead cause i can't escape, were not going so fast we need something to ride to go faste so i want to ask if we Can ride the monster or our pet in crashlands 2 for get some speed to go on a destination

Only watched about 7 seconds and stopped the video. I get that ruining the possibility of being surprised is how games get made nowadays, but i won't allow myself to deprive, also, myself of playing a sequel that is 100% unknown. I dont really care what's going to be in the game. Butterscoth Shennas as a group and Crashlands as a series is going to be exactly what we need. If youre watching it as a fan because you are a disgusting addict, then I get it but i hope you try something else like playing one of their other mobile games or buying their other mobile games for your friends. Or maybe become a famous RU-vidr and review their games. Just get healthy plz
I loved the first one and sold with this sequel. I just hope one day, they include online multiplayer, where you get the chance to interact with other players and their pets, inside different biomes. battle for survival, perhaps team up for some even cooler stuff or anything really, beyond imagination. That’ll be fun and would empower the whole shenanigan concept of the game. Regardless, I’m always a fan since 2019 🫶
