I enjoy watching these 2 legends so much! Cracked up when Dale said he could get to North Wilksboro in 45 min over Richard taking an hour lol.

You see a lot of vintage drag racing these days , which is awesome.. Do you think that could ever happen in stock car racing ? I know or assume probably not financially likely.. Enjoy your recap and old school respective.. Been a 43 fan since I was a kid. I'm 66 ..lol.. Thank you for great memories!!!

I appreciate Richard and Dale providing their insight on the race at Darlington. They are correct, the stage racing and lucky dog go arounds have really changed the way the race was run. But it was so obvious that the #45 car had gained such an advantage in qualifying due to the pit stall selection. He only had to beat the other cars for four feet off of pit road. Moving on to North Wilkesboro for the AllStar race.

So how did you deal with the heat inside of the race car? Any tricks to try to keep the driver as cool as possible for a 500-600 Mike race?
