At 10:42 These four rings have a tendency to fall out the opening when placing the lid back. Those 4 rubber rings are not really well grabbing the casing. I's not a donut shaped ring or torus but more U u or V shaped rubber when cut. It has a few bumbs of star shaped rubber for friction but not much material at all. So when I put back the I used loctite si 5926 silicone sealant as a wax to hold in place while I moved the lid back into place. Is that a good solution or will the stuff eat at the polymer casing and cause problems 4yrs further down the road? I cannot remember the brand of gasscets set but the outer longer loop was well fittting and seemed ok. Everythings works now with that car but I'm just curious and also maybe this is helpfull for others. Any though? (btw tnx great video, I would have missed applying the corner sealant blobs without it)
First of all well done on a great informative video and channel. Im having similar issues on a 1.6thp RCZ engine. Keeps giving me the p1337 and p0301 error codes. 3 sparks from left to right were bone dry but the 4th (closest to the gear box) was soaked in oil. I have checked the coils and all working, even switched coils and cylinders. On compression test im only getting 30psi in cylinder 1 (closest to gearbox) Can you offer any solutions on what to check next?
Can You tell me, what mean an error P0011 in this engine? It shows sometimes, and name of this error on the clock is "Antipollution system fault". I dont know what happens, because car is running fine.
I have p1336 & p1339 combustion misfiring (impact on catalytic converter) on peugeot 3008 1.6thp I changed the seal of the cover and changed the spark plugs After the misfire still not fixing
I changed it because there was oil in the spark plugs .. and all the time different missfire cylinder 1.2.3.4 all the time and now is fixet no oil no problem
@@WheyLandFitness A crankshaft position sensor error code isn't necessarily caused by a crankshaft fault. I've had it a couple of times. Once was a failed ignition coil and and then a leaking seal flooding one of the spark plugs like in this video. I think the misfiring sometimes causes this fault code.
if ignition coils make electricity on spark plugs than the problem is not that. to check that you must remove one igniot coil just a 5mm from the spark plugs and you will se the electricity , and you will hear a different sound.
i have videos how to remove spark plugs and igniot coils and you will know , and dont forget remove the igniot coil just a little and try to start the car and you will see but i dont think the problem is that. check the fuel pump make the nois or see if the car have trouble codes. can be a lot of problems like a fuel pump, or sensor on crankshaft , or sensor on camshaft alot of thinks..
