In this video we check out the 2019 version of the Peugeot 3008 SUV. We pitted it against the slopes of Genting Highlands to see how it fares with FWD only, a 6-speed auto box, 167 horses and 240Nm of torque.
We also bring along Kenneth Chang, one of our subscribers/supporter/ friend: he was super cool, and thanks Kenneth for your great contribution to the test drive, hahaha, showing me the Manual button.

actually is a diff one, first civic plate was VJ8853 , second civic is VR1226.

Great review Boss. Always liked them Pugs, driven a few, appreciate their ride and handling and 'quirky' interiors but have never owned one. The new 'incoming' 508, especially the wagon versh may change that. Handsome fella that wagon.

The rear wheel steering feel maybe because of a primitive rear wheel steering set up from performance cars of yester years which Peugeots are well known for. But then, Peugeots are well known for its good handling and comfort balance, this 3008 is no different. Anyways, another great drive as always at the limit. 😊👍

The 3008 has more torque from the turbo, so it can go faster, but the XV will be more stable, both in the dry and wet because of the AWD.

By the way I wouldn't encourage doing that maneuver on that hilly road. You are putting yourself, your passengers, other vehicles and pedestrians at unnecessary risk. 8:43 the pickup truck brakes seeing on his mirror a crazy fella coming. I'm pretty sure he has exceeded the speed limit too that's why he's masking up the speedometer and tachometer.

Has a lot of safety measures: so refuses to shift down if speed is too high, and shifts up by itself when revs go past the preset values.
