To all fellow 5008 owners that got stuck following this otherwise helpful video - there's a little plastic buckle in the bottom of the rear lights housing that might prevent you to pull out housing as shown in video. Just use a (quite) bit of force pulling backwards and it should unbuckle and release the housing.
Many thanks - helped me a lot. On my left side it did not want to slide back in the beginning - but after using a bit of force it finally slided back as well.
Great video. Our car had a orange slider on the cable harness which has to be in the downward position to release and remove the cables. the bottom tip of the orange slider slides into a little black piece and causes it to move outwards to release the harness. Our orange piece wasn't moving downwards enough so we had to push/lift the black piece outwards slightly to release the harness.
All peugeot 5008 owners (mk I) who have left or right top corner above the license plate dented, say AYE!! (built between 2009-2016).. I'll start AYE! I never dented it myself nor my wife or kids. Then I started looking around.. in the Netherlands, in France.. Almost all of them have this spontaneous dent at the same spot... So if you own the mpv 5008 let me know if this dent occurred by itself on your trunkpanel as well? I feel Peugeot has some explaining to do.
