Regarding mushrooms, the great Julia Child had the best words of wisdom imo: "Don't crowd the pan! If you crowd the pan, they won't brown!" It really does make a difference if you only put a few mushrooms in at a time - they shouldn't be touching and then they'll brown amazingly.

Taylor, you were in my dream last night! You were on one side of a fence, and you were just super cheerful and happy. Some girls on the other side of the fence were trying to play a mean trick on you, like putting a "kick me" sign on your back through the fence. They missed you, and ended up not affecting you at all, but they ran away giggling to themselves like they did something to you. You were completely unaware of their attempt, and you kept going on your way just looking so happy and beautiful. Weird dream, but you seem super happy these days and I'm really enjoying your vlogs every time you post.

FYI for everyone - if you don't want to use wine in your cooking, vinegar is a great substitute for deglazing a pan and gives you the same wine tang!

Tulips are my favorite flower. At my old house I used to grow rare varieties. There was this one called purple prince that never flowered, and then suddenly one year there were HEAPS of them. They were a deep purple, almost black color.

About the white sneakers you cleaned - my mom taught me how to clean the white rubber on any sneakers - you can use nail polish remover! Just rub the rubber (ha!) with a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover and it cleans it super well! Love u and the video!
