I wasn't a fan of the teams they played for but these have to be two of the most likeable people on the planet. Non-football fans would love them as well. So much knowledge mixed with so much talent and just two decent humans. Thank you!
They're joking about calling the next offensive play by using body language. It's a way offenses call plays quickly to keep the defensive players on the field without being able to substitute a player and to keep defenses from being able to keep up with offense's pace. The huddle is when the offense circles before a play and the quarterback calls the play directly to them. No huddle is when the guarterback uses body language to quickly call a play so the defense doesn't have time to make adjustments. It takes a really well coached team and very intelligent quarterback who knows schemes to do it successfully. Payton Manning remains the best to ever execute the no huddle offense. Similar to understanding all the variations of all the chess openings, the quarterback needs to be able to adiust to what he sees the defense doing so he can target the weaknesses each play.
