Takes me back to when I bought my first 8-track when I was about 11. Yes, Peter Frampton was my first choice. Love to still jam to his music. I was totally turned on to his music in the 70's.
Peter Frampton's 1977 - "Signed, Sealed, Delivered ... I'm Yours" - on his album I'm in You. His version also contains instrumental elements from Wonder's hit "For Once in My Life" Mick Jagger is featured on backing vocals. Frampton's version was released as a single. Motown Soul delivered from England's Peter Frampton. With this re-make of the Classic Stevie Wonder Hit, Frampton topped The Billboard "Hot 100" at #18, and #13 on the Cashbox Top 100, also #13 in Canada. ✍️ Originally written by Stevie Wonder, amongst others. Stevie released the song in 1970. During a 2008 appearance Wonder credited the song title and chorus "signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours" to his mother Lula, who exclaimed the words after listening to her son experiment with the melody. This song also marked Wonder's sixth Grammy nomination. Stevie's version was a #1 hit on the U.S. R&B, peaked #3 on the Pop charts. ✍️ In 2003 the English boy band 'Blue' released yet another version of this song. Stevie Wonder & Angie Stone was featured in this Pop, Soul - Funk genre. However, it did not hit the U.S. charts but did hit #11 on the singles chart in the U.K.
