I've been testing out the luts all day. Skin tones are definitely much more organic and very filmic! Thanks for the email. You should be getting paid from these camera manufacturers!!

Those new FS7 LUTs are so good we had to immediately revisit some old projects made 6-7 years ago, and gave them a new breath of life and a more modern look. Again thank you!

Love this. My grade process is Phantom LUTS with a “subtle version” of Eugenia’s film texture settings. At some point I’ll post something and tag you both. The new LUTS look gorgeous.

Thanks Joel. I like having both old & new Phantom Luts. In some shots I actually prefer the old ones, as skin tones in the new one's look a bit too red in certain shots. But in other shots the old one's look a bit too green, and the new one's are far batter. Preciate the update. Cheers.

I put the new LUTs on footage that had the old LUTs, and the difference in some shots was very noticeable, and I agree, some shots just seem too red but then again, I'm also comparing it to what my mind was 'used to'

I wanted to thank you for simplifying my workflow process. I have been experimenting with your luts under different conditions and cameras (a73 and a1) and enjoyed working on projects more knowing I can expect consistent behavior across my footage when nailing WB and choosing an exposure based on what I want to emphasize rather than use of other techniques to minimize noise. I see you’ve built quite a community and reputation because of their quality. Thank you!

The best luts I have ever used... magical. The customer support on the other hand is terrible. Actually it doesn't exist, sent several messages with no response. If you expect any support then stay away from this product. If you don't expect any support then this product will blow your mind.

Thank you for the service you provide to the film community, it's truly invaluable. Do you have a place to donate? I think you deserve more than just the initial price I paid for the luts.

So…. Apparently the sensor on the DJI Ronin 4d is fairly similar to the Sony sensors. I own the 4d and an fx3 and literally the only thing I am bummed about with my recent purchase of the 4d is the fact that I can’t seem to get my two cameras to match when I’m using the phantom lut on the fx3 😭 I never thought I would be sad about a 8000$+ because of a LUT!! That just goes to show how great of a job you’ve done Joel. Idk how, but PLEASE consider making the phantom lut for the 4d 🥺🙏🏼🥺🙏🏼 You’re a legend 💪🏼

Joel! Just found out about you and your LUTs via a RU-vidr named Harv. I'm super new to filming but already recognize the quality of the ARRI as a standard that I aspire toward. Right now I shoot in HLG3 on a Sony A7C. Assume SLOG2 would be better for these LUTs with my 8-bit footage? Really appreciate your passion and look forward to trying out your work.

Hi Trever, thanks so much! Yes Harv is a great resource! I'd recommend you shoot slog2+sgmut3cine on the A7c and use the LUTs that work with that profile included with the A7s3 LUT packs

I’m having a hard time with my white balance. I used a grey card to set custom white balanced on my Sony FX3 and applied the Eastman LUT and it looked off to me. I tried auto white balance too but still looked weird to me. Not sure what I’m doing wrong haha.

Hey man I’d just use the white balance presets I recommend in the readme - I only say to auto white balance or use a grey card if trying to match cameras.

I use davinci. Before i apply all of these tips should i open a node and apply a "color space transform' to match my sony a7 iv colour space? input colour space to Sony s-gamut3 etc... Then output color space to rec 709 and output gamme to rec709? Or should i skip all that, begin colour correcting then add lut. Thanks again. Subbed. :)

Thank you for the amazing work you have done with this LUT's. Just got my hands on them today. I see some people recommend to bump up the color phase inside the camera (sony a7s iii) from 0 to +2. Is this something you recommend as well or should you stick to the original settings? I guess this comes from people watching the Gerald Undone video? Cheers from Norway
