Hey y'all! This week's cover is Phantom Of The Opera from the musical, Phantom Of The Opera!
After months of indecision I've finally decided to cover this song. I remember watching the VoicePlay cover of this song years ago and thinking "Wow I want to be able to sing like that.”This feels insanely surreal and like a full circle moment for me and I'm so glad that I got to sing this song with one of my favorite people. Huge thank you to @reinaeiry for lending me her lovely voice! Hope you all enjoy!

Words cannot describe how amazing this cover is. I literally spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what I should right only for me to have no words to describe the sheer power and harmony of your voices. I’m a huge POTO (Phantom of the Opera) fan, and oh my goodness if POTO was re-done to have all the main cast as women then I’d definitely sign you guys up, the way you guys sing together is just shsijfjfjdjekakabshxhsijajahshshdhejiwia Secondly, can we talk about the high notes at the end? Gosh DAYUM. And the way the phantom commands Christine to sing- She has such power in her voice, and it really shows. And THAT LAST NOTE WAS HEAVENLY! And lastly, can we talk about the artwork? As someone who’s trying to get better at drawing myself, I absolutely love the artwork. Whoever drew it deserves a raise as that literally looked amazing. 10/10 watch, 10/10 art, and 10/10 singing. Let's start with the fact that this is my favorite piece from musicals, which, moreover, I learned during school. (although English is not my native language). Also, I usually don't expect anything extraordinary from covers. It very rarely happens that they are at least similar in quality to the original songs, and that's already good. Even less often someone manages to bring something new. But you managed to follow the source material exactly, and at the same time bring something new and interesting, as it seemed to me, to this work of art. I would love to watch this version of the musical. 👏👏👏
