Pharaoh Hound Howl Sounds Like an Air Raid Siren

This is a recording of our Pharaoh Hound, Zuko, and his impressive howl. We setup cameras to film him while we were at work and discovered he would howl like this. The howl impressed us and broke our hearts at the same time. We have since adopted a female Pharaoh Hound and the howling has stopped.

Not fair really to get a dog and leave it on its own all day. I love dogs but don’t have one because of this. Glad he has a doggie companion.

How do you know how long he's alone all day? You don't. And if the only people allowed to get dogs were people who get to stay at home all day and not have lives, very few people would own dogs. Not really fair to judge people about their dogs when you literally know nothing about them 🤷‍♀️
