SUFI Music has deep roots in our culture and there is a specific traditional genre named QAWWALI, but this rendition of Bol Hu is composed in such a way that would appeal the modern audience and Poetry is everything in Pakistani Music. Coke Studio and Nescafe Basement are featuring various artists across all over Pakistan and making covers of timeless music pieces and making it audible to the world!

More Pakistani content please Sir! "Soch" is pronounced same way as "torch" instead of "sock". And yes, it's a Pakistani band, Pakistan is actually a music powerhouse and you might want to dive deeper and find more gems from Pakistan. PS Nescafé usually features bands, Soch Band is an example i.e. the male singers, the rest of the musicians are guests or underground artists. Nescafé Basement is one of many Pakistani music platforms who've also done many English song covers. Coke Studio is another Pakistani music platform, all of their videos have subtitles. Please check out Aadat Instrumental, by Nescafé too. :)

Nescafe Basement: Its actually a platform of up and coming Pakistani musicians mainly School. College and University students. It has been growing and growing; has had 5 seasons by now. Coke Studio: It is a platform where Established Pakistani singers produce special stuff. It has had 11 seasons by now and is the most popular music show in whole of subcontinent. They also have an Indian version of CS however it Pakistan where the CS originated.

This song is a spiritual song, its about a persons belief in God and Solace. Rule number 1 in Pakistan ; song quality is primary and commercialisation , secondary. The reason why Pakistani music is on a whole different level is because of just this simple principle and its non-negotiable. Of course , talent helps and everyone in Pakistan is a master of their own craft no matter what their passion or job is but this isn't anything new. We are living in a digital age but this song hasn't surprised any of us except the fact that an 8 year old girl of many other children is on the spotlight. She is a gifted child 💖 and has a bright future ahead of her.

well to be very straight, this sufi kalam(lyrics&music) takes you on a spiritual journey. May be western societies or some individuals won't be able to relate themselves in sucha way to this type of music. Bt its a blend/fusion of sufi music with modern day pop instruments. Thaat: Asaweri Raga: Darbari Kaanrra Some lyrics composed in. Darbari is the Raga of Last Part of the Deep Night. It presents the night and it's beauty. This Raga was created created by "Ustad Taan Sen" and King Akbar The 'Great" liked it. He used to listen this scale in his court and changed it's name from Kaanrra to Darbari Kaanrra. Darbar means King's Court. Yes.. This raaga is beautiful. And, the Young Lady has tried well. She has presented it's very basic form.

I would strongly recommend you review or listen to content also from Coke Studio. Nescafé Basement is for up and coming underground artists whilst Coke studio is specifically for professional artists, both of which are sung live. You could try Afreen Afreen by Rabat Fateh Ali Khan or Chaap Tilak by Abidi Parveen.

Pharaoh TV you probably know already but Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is arguably the best singer across the whole of the Indian Sub-continent. His uncle was even better than him in most peoples opinions, whose name is Ustad (teacher) Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a legendary Qawali singer.

Just saw your second video on Pakistani upcoming artist and yes I did end up sharing the video and also left a comment on it. Also saw a suggestion on one of the comment for a reaction on runaway of coke Studio which infact not a bad idea. I will keep coming back for all the videos you will be posting on Pakistan. Pakistan in the coming year will be every where on youtube and yes we are proud of our country no matter what the challenges for us?. People of Pakistan are loving and extremely hospitable and there is a easy way to verify it,just make a video on Pakistan and see the love you get ❤.
