What I love about Hadiya's performance is that it can be analyzed to the smallest detail, but it doesn't matter because NONE of that is part of her singing. Like you said, it's just pure emotion. No technique is "getting in the way". And because it's pure emotion, every little thing she does is straight from the soul, unfiltered. And it hits THAT much harder because as adults, we've often forgotten what it's like to hear someone bare their soul through usic.

Hadiya"s scale is incredible. She sings in the lower and higher scale with ease. Singing in the lower scale is the most difficault.

That instrument is called "harmonium" its kinda compulsory instrument for indian/pakistani classical music...singers practice vocals (we call it riyaaz) with this harmonium only... We practice our scales and RAGAAS

Here is my explanation about lyrics of the song. To understand "HU", consider phase before BigBang. No time, No space only "He" the creator. This is "HU" phase. Then A Bang resulted in time and space, both expanding Sooner they both will collapsed (reverse bang kind of). Then it'll be "HU" phase again. Everything we know is a small part of what exists between these 2 phases of "HU" Now, where the little girl starts her part, the song invites you to think about "what are you" , "why are you" The song suggests ... You will get the answer if you isolate yourself and think more about your existence. Your soul and body will be yelling the "Answer" ... "HU"
