Really nice cover! This kid has some great talent and a wonderful tenor voice! He made this song his own which is something most people doing covers these days forget about. Most people try too hard to sound like the original and he did a great job on keeping away from Phil's version.

It's hard for me to see any version as comparable to the original. But I actually enjoyed this cover. It's contemporary and modern. So it's a nice take. Props to you. My only thing is that I wish you could've waited to pick up the tempo at that epic drum solo coz that makes the song, other than that, WOO. :)

Just Me Trevor does have his own music, he had to sing covers of songs because he hadn't been signed to a record label yet. If you want to listen to his original music, check out his EP. Trevor isn't a "lazy singer" I actually think he's quite talented.
