Phil Kaye performs "The Geico Gecko" 

Steven Spielberg is doing a remake of a classic: Jurassic Park. So he's asked me to sign on, I can't exactly say who I'm going to play, but I'll give you a hint. *"Rawr"*

I saw the title and thought, how the hell can he make the Geico Gecko into a serious poem. As always, Mind = Blown. That was incredible.

Oh my gosh. What just happened? The moment when he breaks character. I just. Oh my goshhh...

His humor in the beginning makes his sad ending more poignant... To be recognized but not known. "Some how I keep finding myself here".

I cannot believe that just the other day I saw a live performance of this at my school and then got to meet him and Sarah afterwards. They're so absolutely incredible!

his accent is astounding

The point of the performance was not to sound like a carbon copy of the Geico gecko. Just saying. It was an amazing performance, and an amazing poem with a much deeper meaning than attempting "celebrity" impersonation. Whether or not the accent was Australian or British or Chinese makes no difference whatsoever, so can we move on now?
