That would make things worse but as long as it's not you or yours you could care less. There are a lot more good people in this world than there are bad but it's the good people, the innocent, who would feel the negative affects, the wrath a military will bring.
Rough call. I suppose, It wouldn't be so terrible to become a cop if citizens had respect for the law but I am well aware of the fact the law has no respect for the citizens. It actually doesn't matter who started that cycle of mistrust first, the only thing I care about is how to end that cycle and make the city of Philadelphia safer on both ends.
I was proud to a Police Explorer in Philadelphia. Having been born with Cerebral Palsy, Law Enforcement wasn't a career for me. I appreciated the training that I received, even though I couldn't really take advantage and become a officer. Maybe I waisted everyone's time and money, but I did serve 14 years in Operation Town Watch.
@@mdiond70he ain’t wrong at all, cops in Philly don’t do shit. They not here to protect you, they are not on your side. I bet if the pigs had dog shit on their boots you would still lick them
My cousin wanted to be a Philly cop 35 years ago, and he was 1 of the 2 white males that year that didn't make it. Quotas over performance where, and are what the academy is about. One of the Cops he went to the academy with, told us he wished he would have taken the job offer at the Philly Zoo. "At least there, the monkeys were limited in numbers. Out here they have guns!" $65K to be a walking target. lol!
Lowers the physical fitness standard? Half the cops are like 5 foot tall, 120 pound women. It's a joke. It looks like cafeteria ladies dressed as cops for Halloween.
