I remember when I was in a elementary school, I accidentally drew the Philippine flag upside down so I just flipped it since it's a white, thin paper I remember my teacher was laughing while correcting me lol then I flip it, my brain was like "Oh wait I think I'm deadass, this sign is for war" realized just a second after I finished doing coloring the flag.

The colors symbolized the following Blue - Peace, truth & justice Red - Patriotism and Valor White equilateral triangle - liberty, equality and patriotism. Eight rayed Yelow sun - symbolized the 8 provinces of the philippines who revolted (Himagsikan) againts the Spanish colinization 3 Stars - symbolized the Major Island regions of the Philippines which is Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

And its very crucial to not raise the flag upside down, every school here raises a flag every morning and sing our national anthem, students are usually the one raising it so they need to be very careful
