It should be dangerous to drink alcohol before swimming. What if you get drunk before swimming to the island? Really admire the idea of you wanting to swim to the island, if you succeed you should be superman! That small island, reminds me of an old movie: The Blue Lagoon! You and Ali are amazing, thanks for sharing！👍🤩👏

This is the best time to do the Island hopping tour in El Nido because definitely next time it's so crowded again! Take tour A and rent a kayak in big lagoon it's so beautiful there

I guess some locals could not quickly understand when you ask them because of your British accent. You might misunderstand them, but maybe they are still thinking what you've said.😅 Since, here in the Philippines, we're adapting to American English.

Of course, El Nido, Coron, Balabac and the rest of Palawan is the most beautiful island in the World..We cannot find that kind in Europe North America, Africa, Australia and even here in South America. Proud Filipino here in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

It is great that you learned the words PO, OPO, KUYA (male) /ATE (female). Locals will respect you more for that as these are sacred words in the Philippines. You respect them, they will respect you back.

What do they eat? They forage fresh seashells, seaweeds, octopus, crabs, fish, Harry. I believe they have vegetables somewhere above them. If there are bananas around, they can have banana blossoms with fish or make banana blossom salad with coconut milk. Yum! They manage somehow, pretty awesome!.

I get Moana feels with the islands. Palawan is still part of the Luzon group of islands (Manila belongs to this group) and not the Visayas group of Islands. Specifically, Palawan is part of the Luzon region of Region 4B or the MIMAROPA REGION. MIMAROPA REGION OF LUZON MI - Mindoro Occidental, Mindoro Oriental, MA - Marinduque, RO - Romblon, and PA - Palawan.

I wish that fisherman in the island has more decent place to sleep with his family. However, sometimes, I envy them because they have more simple (less complex/stressful life). I pray that they always survive and be safw and happy. You could not expect that most of those living in remote islands could speak English.

Be careful when swimming without a lifeguard on watch especially when the only person nearby is Ali who doesn’t know how to swim. That’s a recipe for disaster 😂

Philippines was colonized by Britain for 2 years and other countries for so long. The country is relatively young for being independent.

The Philippines was never colonized by Britain. Manila was invaded by the British because it was at war with Spain. It lasted for only several months not centuries as did by Spain.

@@chaopanofasia8490 Yes, it is literally documented in Philippine history references, it was a surprise British invasion attack to the Spanish colonizers based in Manila(particularly Intramuros in 1762)at the height of 7-years war period(1756-1763).✌✌✌

@@chaopanofasia8490 The British Navy indeed defeated the Spanish Armada. But it happened 200 years earlier than the 7 Years War during which time the British occupied the Philippines. The British used Sepoy soldiers from India commanded by British officers.

He's no security guard Harry, we call him care taker. And if you buy one bottle. pls use smaller bill, same with Ali, he has 1k, you have 500, you are making it hard for the small time vendor to give you your change ahahahahaha. REal Talk man! One thing, before you drink beer, you need to clean the lips of the bottle, it has stain on it, you can use your finger if you dont have tissue paper heheheheh. enjoy your island life men,, why not go to El Nido Town proper?

It’s near Puerto Prinsesa. Unless their return ticket going somewhere is in Puerto Princesa. It will take 5 to 6 hours to travel there by land from El Nido.

Harry go with your friends in Siargao and collaborate with foreigners living in the island. Eight miles, Emy and Johan, and others. Some experience the Typhoon Odette but still love and lived in the island.
