Georgia's dances are exquisitely graceful and classic, while that of the Philippines is eclectic and dynamic. No comparison, both are truly amazing and beautiful.
Philippine folk dances are more Hispanic that originated during the time when it was a part of the Spanish empire. A subprovince to Mexico both where Spanish territories.

Iba ung dating ng pagkanta ng mga singers with the instruments - it was so beautiful, don ako nahalina❤❤❤❤❤. Kung ihahalintulad ung sayaw, grupo kc ung nagbalanse ng ilaw, samantalang ung nauna, mag isa lng xa. Iba pag halos lahat ng dancers kesa mag isa lng. Tapos iba ung dating ng baso na ipinatong lng ng walang sombrero - isang skill na mahirap lalo't sumasayaw. Tapos, nakangiti ng maganda ung mga mananayaw. Sa atin kc may buhay, parang me pamayanan. May buhay na kwento at hindi basta pagpapakita ng galing lamang o simpleng paghahatid ng kaaliwan lamang.
Georgia performed fantastically. Philippines did it skillfully and visually stunning. Both are lovely and pleasant to the senses, however The Philippines gave a mesmerizing entertaining value. Rounds of applause to Georgia and The Philippines.
I've been to Georgia their Dancers are amazing strong legs and Determination.You will mesmerized if you see it in person.While my country Philippines are very unique and historical performance
I remember before when I was in high school we used the song Pandango sa ilaw in the National competition in PH and we won representing Visayas region we are truly blessed that this song is being used in so many competitions.
Tunay nga na magaganda ang mga Pilipina,makikita naman sa mukha ng mga dancers,maaliwalas at kahali halina opposite sa mga strong features ng mga geogian.
Parang napanood ko na ito dati. Kulang yung sayaw ng Pilipinas dito ang alam ko sumayaw pa sila ng "Singkil" na lalong pinalakpakan ng mga manonood. 😀😃
Filipinos are people who smile a lot, even when we have problems. There’s a song that says “tawanan ang problema” I don’t even remember who sang that song. We are basically happy people 😊😊😊

Yung magBalance na lang ng basong may pa-ilaw, palayok, patong sa kawayan, tawid sa kawayan, patong-talon sa bangko, very challenging performance on stage. Siguraduhing walang mababagsak, mababasag, mabububog, maiipit, masusunog.. Costume lang plus points ng ibang bansa, sa Pinas, appeal😁 Encore, Philippines!🇵🇭
In singing, winning the audience hearts is not about the biggest voice but how the message is conveyed. As with dancing, It’s not about who’s more athletic.
You cant always argue with SOME other Filipinos, they are too competitive. Some comments say, Philippines “could’ve” represented the BEST folk dances as opposed to what are shown in this video. Are Georgia’s folk dances in the video also their best? Just appreciate the diversity.

The Philippines should have presented the Muslim Singkil dance.. it’s more of Filipino folk/cultural dance, more powerful and graceful…the beating of “ gongs” to accompany the dance is amazing..
Singkil does not represent the whole Philippines. TINIKLING is more culturally vibrant basis of majority. Note there is only less than 5%of muslim in the Phils. Georgia dancers are fantastic they look like they are gliding instead of walking.
Georgia world class! captivating 💗 Philippines boring bakit pandango sa ilaw at hindi tinikling? Ay naku 😢 at ang dilim dilim tapos yung mga bahay kubo sa background ang liliit ano nakatira dyan dwende? saka mukhang poor. Poor na nga ang image natin sa ibang bansa. Sana mga naglalakihan palm trees or beaches na lng at beautiful sunrise or sunset while dancing tiinikling tapos dapat nagtatawanan may sumisigaw na hoy...lively. Sana pumili din ng mga fit na dancers. Dapat presentable. Ang daming malalaki tyan. Pag sa international stage dapat world class ang dating. In fairness ang singing natin dito at music world class 👍
This is not complete renderion of Philippine Dances , missing is the cordellirans and the Muslim Dances to showcase the entire archipelago of the Philippines!!😂😂😂 So sad, there is a bias, in my opinion! Not worth to compare with! Sorry!
Im Filipino and i cant believed they used Pandango sa ilaw as a dance to present to the world. It would have been better and exciting if they use tinikling…. Fire the dance director lol 👎🏽
