Individually change can happen but holistically it's impossible since we have many other factors that hinder our situation. Likewise, the Philippines has so many issues which makes it hard to concentrate on this China issue alone, we suffer from earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes just like Indonesia, then we have the most typhoons in the world per year which is now more stronger due to carbon pollution especially from China and the US, we suffer from ongoing rebel insurgency be it terrorism or communist rebels, we suffer from systematic corruption like the human trafficking industry installed by colonisers and etc. But the Ph does have its strength, but if we flexed our biggest weapon it would be end game for everyone. Let's just say Philippines is not the pinnacle of the coral triangle and next to the world's deepest abyss for no reason.
