Here is a helpful tip for timing: Weekly Cleaning of Brew Group - 0:30 Monthly Cleaning of Brew Group - 1:20 Lubricating of Brew Group - 3:13 Cleaning Drip Tank - 4:19 Replacing Aqua Clean - 5:35 Lubricant - HD5061. It would be nice to add this to the description of the video.
That is the only point on the machine that I do not find solved well. Why doesn't the machine count the cups and then indicates that cleaning with a cleaning tablet is necessary? But worst of all is that you have to pull the plug during the process instead of having a real cleaning mode.
Absolutely love this machine! I'm more than happy to do the weekly and monthly cleaning if it means I can get an amazing latte every morning with a click of a button. I was a bit apprehensive about the price tag of this machine (my first automatic machine) but I am so glad I got it. I no longer get Starbucks.
I know. I'm still trying to understand how to do this. What happens if we let the entire cup finish with the oil cleaning tab inside without unplugging it halfway through?
@@clj4469 nothing happens other than that the whole tablet gets cycled through and it doesn't get time to act in the brewing chamber. The idea is that you unplug while the tablet and water are inside of there and they get time to dissolve the oils.
That's good to hear, Ferki. :) Glad to hear we were able to help you with that. However, please know that if you ever have any questions, you could also always turn to us on here or on social media - as we're happy to help.
In monthly cleaning, put in the oil tablet right before pressing start or you risk losing it if device timeouts. The half a cup is what it brews anyway before unplugging the device.
I’ve just been using this amazing machine for 2 weeks. Thanks for such clear instructions & step by step guidance. Love this machine so much. Now I can unleash the inner barista within me 💃💃💃☕️☕️☕️
Hi Maya, congratulations on your purchase! 🤗 We're glad to hear that you love it so far and that we can help you in your path to becoming a coffee connoisseur. 💁♀️☕ Enjoy!
Thanks for the video. I have a Philips 3200. According to this video, we are supposed to "apply a thin layer of grease to the rails of both sides" (at 4:05). The person's hand is in the way of the tube and I cannot see exactly where I am supposed to apply the grease. Could you please give a more precise description (or photo) of where the grease should go? Many thanks in advance.
Hi Andrew, thank you for reaching out. The grease should be applied to the vertical slots on the inside of the brew group. It's on the inside of the slanted part of the brew group. We hope this helps.
I have a question, it's it ok to use a bit of vinager in the water to clean out hard water build up? Some coffee makers that works great, some have unrealistically small valves that end up getting clogged, or what is recommended to clean that up?
Hi Jacob, thanks for your comment. By using the AquaClean filter, our LatteGo espresso machines guard against the build up of Calc! You can get up to 625 cups of coffee per filter - made with pure, clean water. ☺️ Please keep in mind that the AquaClean filter should be replaced every so often and that a descale will still be required after about 5,000 cups of coffee have been made. Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions!
When I opened the service door for the first ever weekly cleaning of the brew group, it was such a mess inside. Coffe grounds were all over the brew group chamber and inside the brew group itself. Every slit was tightly filled with coffe grounds. Rinsing didn't help as lubrication works as a glew for coffe and water can't wash it off at all. Did I do something wrong or the machine is broken and should return it?
Hey there, Danilla. Thanks a lot for bringing this to our attention. What a pity to hear that your first general cleaning with your coffee machine ended up quite of a mess. It is however, normal that the brew group would be quite messy, and which is why thorough cleaning is a must (preferably every week, or when necessary). Nevertheless, if you find that there are broken parts from inside the brew group or chamber, do let us know, and we'd be happy to inspect your coffee machine for you. If you may find the time, please send us some images of your coffee machine (especially on the affected machine parts) through our Facebook (to.philips/6054GwTAr) or Twitter (to.philips/6055GwTAT) pages. Speak soon! :)
@@Philips Thanks for reply! : ) And that was actually my fault. I often forgot to press the "Aroma Strength" icon after pouring preground coffe in. lol Besides already poured preground coffe, the machine grinds even more coffe and that's exactly what caused the mess. Love the machine!
Can you tell me please, in details, how you resolved with the mess? Because it happens to me since 3 months(since when I bought it). It is very annoying for me. Thanks
@@Alinuta Well, as you can see in the Philips' reply above, it's normal for the brew group to get messy. That's why you have to clean it once a week. But my case it was too messy as if someone had shoved handfuls of coffe grounds right into the brew group chamber. It happened becuase sometimes, quite often rlly, after i poured preground coffe into the machine, i forgot to hold "Aroma Strength" icon for 3 seconds. So in addition to preground coffe, the machine ground more coffe grains. So probably too much coffe grounds simply oveflowed and made a great mess. But that's not it. In a month the coffe grinder broke down! Guys from the service center came, took the mchine away, didnt have to take it there myself, very quickly changed the grinder and brought it back. Still it's pity the machine can break down so quikcly after just a mnonth of a very careful use. But again, the machine is not very expensive, not cheap too of course, but it makes awesome coffe. Do you speak russian by chance?
Hi there, thanks for reaching out! No, it's not necessary to use washing up liquid to clean the water tank or when replacing the filter. We recommend following the maintenance steps depicted in this video. ☺️ If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know.
Hi, Aris. Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we don't quite get the issue you are experiencing. Could you please elaborate a little more on this? We'd be happy to help you out. :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
You unplug the machine while was still cleaning itself or something and the parts was not where suposed to be, just plug it back start the machine and wait until all the operations stops, after that you can take out the brewgroup.
Hi Linja, we're happy to have a look into it for you. Our team would like to help you furhter though Facebook or Twitter. Could you send us a private message on one of these platforms, sharing a video of the issue? We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can anyone help me regarding lubrication part? Do you lubricate and leave the lubrication on the parts described? Will the lubrication get in the coffee? Thank you
The hot water dispenser keeps sputtering and making a mess of my counters when my wife uses it to make her morning tea. Seemed to develop this issue after the first week. Any way to fix or adjust this? Ive tried using a toothpick to clean around the office but it was clean. Otherwise the machine has been great!
We're sorry to hear that Jason. Our team would be happy to have a look into it with you. Could you please contact us on one of our social media pages, or through the links on our website? Hope to speak to you soon!
Hi there, Jack. Thanks for your message. You can adjust the grinder settings by pressing down the grind setting knob and turning it to the left or right. Do not turn the grind setting knob more than one notch at a time to prevent damage to the grinder. You can read more in the manual on page 12 here: to.philips/6050z134K. Hope that helps.
What color is this model? All I can find online is the black all around, or stainless steel on the front part only from Williams Sonoma, but the rest of the body is still black. This specific model looks like the body color is matt gray. Can you please let me know where I can get this model?
Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your LatteGo espresso machine, and we'd like to help out. We kindly ask you to reach out via our social media channels (Twitter or Facebook), so that we can take a closer look. Talk to you soon!
Hello! Can I remove aqua filter when rinsing the water tank weekly? Is it ok? within a week the water tank became a little slimy/dirty and i wanted to wash it with soap.
Hi there, Madara. Thanks for reaching out to us for assistance. You will be notified when the filter is exhausted, the AquaClean light starts flashing orange to remind you to replace the filter with a new one. You should also replace the filter at least every 3 months, even if the machine does not yet indicate that replacement is required. We hope that helps but if you have further questions then we recommend contacting us on Facebook (@Philips) or Twitter (@PhilipsCare), so we can assist you properly with your inquiry.
I have a LatteGo 3200. The user manual makes no mention of using the coffee oil remover tablets. I want to make sure I am maintaining my machine correctly. Was this an error?
Hi, there. Thanks for your question. How odd to hear that it isn't mentioned, as we were able to locate it in the user manual: to.philips/6053GShnN. You can use the coffee oil remover tablets to clean the brew group. The model number of the tablets is CA6704/10. Hope this has been helpful.
@@Philips Hi. So upon closer inspection, it looks like my manual indeed did not include anything about coffee oil remover tablets. Here is a link to the corresponding page: www.dropbox.com/s/mtkz4hqwmu2twad/IMG_8034.JPG?dl=0, whereas the manual that you linked does include this info, it can be quite confusing. Was this an omission on Phillips' part? I just purchased this machine less than a month ago, so that's a very big miss in my opinion! I will be sure to use the tablets to maintain my machine, but I wanted to point out this omission as other customers could be rather confused.
Hello, again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'll pass this information on to our product team that will look into this. Hope you are enjoying your LatteGo! ☕
You probably already got an answer, but just hold the coffee bean button three seconds for pre-ground coffee and when the milk is done frothing just cancel the brewing process.
Hi my middle red button is on I tried everything but will not switch of In 3 weeks this is my third filter I had to put in because button keeps coming on red the middle one .I tried to deactivated the aqua filter even that does not work help. I bought the machine about 4 weeks ago. Thank you 😊

When i pull the coffee button and then the aroma strengh button for 3 seconds it starts but is stops automatically ... how often should i do this before i wait the 15 minutes ... ?
Hello Sascha, thanks for your question. After you press the aroma strength for 3 seconds, the pre-ground coffee function should be activated. At this point, press the start/stop button to start the brewing cycle. When half a cup of water has been brewed, unplug the machine, and wait for 15 minutes. You only need to do this once. For more information, please refer to page 14 of the user manual: to.philips/6058zdMzK. If you have more questions, please let us know.

Hi Paul, thanks for your question. Yes, that is correct. You have to remove the plug when half a cup of water has been brewed. We hope this answers your question. Please feel free to reach out to us again if you need further assistance.
Hi there, thank you for contacting us. We'll gladly see where you can purchase the oil remover tablets. We'll usually sell them from our local website, but if you contact us through social media @PhilipsCare we'll be happy to provide with the exact link. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hallo Mister Parker, wenn die Calc/Clean-Anzeige beginnt langsam zu blinken, weißt Du, dass das Gerät entkalkt werden muss. Melde Dich gerne wieder, falls weitere Fragen aufkommen. 😊 Liebe Grüße
Hi, thanks for your question! We advise you to lubricate the brew group once every 2 months. Please make sure to consult the lubrication table in the user manual and lubricate the brew group with Philips grease. We hope this helps. 😊
Hi there, thank you for your message. Can you please provide us with the model number of your device and your country of residence? Then we'll be able to assist you further.
Thanks for the quick reply. We advise to lubricate the brew group every 2 months, but if you simply rinsing the brew group under the tap doesn't remove all the lubricant. You can find a more detailed explanation on maintaining and cleaning the device right here: to.philips/6051HBNhx. Hope this clears things up. :)
Understandable. If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, we recommend lubricating every 4 months. In case you brew more cups of coffee daily, we advise lubricating more often. You can find more information here: to.philips/6057GgR09. Hope this clears it up for you!
I slid the brew group in the wrong position, not aligned, now it got stuck. I can't push down the lever because it is hidden in the back. Please show me how to get the brew group out.
Hi, Colin. Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to hear your brew group is stuck. If the brew group is still stuck, please reach out to us on our other social media channels (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter). There we'll be able to assist you further. Looking forward to hearing from you.
@@Philips thank you for the quick reply. I cleaned as instructed, but there are some areas of the brewing unit that have this waxy paste. Could this be residual oil from the original lubrication? Is this something I can get assistance through an assistance chat?
Hey Giovanni, thanks for getting back to us. That could be the case. We're happy to help through here but if you share your location we can also get you in touch with our local team. Kind regards.
@@Philips awesome! I am in Fayetteville, NC. I bought this machine at the local Best Buy. I ordered the cleaning pills, filter, and liquid. I will clean it this week and see if that helps. Could you still provide me with the contact info of the closest team to my location. Thank you!
Hi there, Giovanni. Feel free to reach out to us at +1-833-737-1212, Monday to Friday: 09:00am - 06:00pm EST if cleaning the machine won't solve the issue. Have a good one.
Hi there, thank you for your question. :) Depending on how often you use your espresso machine, see below frequencies: If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, lubricate every 4 months If you brew 6-9 coffees a day, lubricate every 2 months If you brew more than 10 coffees a day, lubricate once a month Hope this helps!
Hi there, Alia. Thank you for reaching out. Could you please send us a message on Twitter (@PhilipsCare) or Facebook (@Philips)? There, we can assist you better. We hope to hear from you soon.
Dear Philips, could you please create a normal video on cleaning the device? The one you have here is misleading, almost like a fraud. You are cleaning a clean coffee machine on a video. In real life it takes fair 2 hours to clean the machine during monthly cleaning. The whole brewing group will be filthy with ground coffee everywhere which is impossible to clean up from silicone grease. A huge part of the cleaning routine which is missing in the video is cleaning the machine's base where drip and water container are installed. Philips engineers made cleaning it especially hard by designing lots of tight spaces with corners and small pockets where ground coffee and sludge slowly rotting covering with mold. People who design it must clean it as a punishment daily! It's awful! Additional accessories for cleaning coffe machine base are flashlight, chopsticks, and wet wipes. The drip container also has tight spots created to hold the mold, mud, and slime. The dishwasher will not clean those places. Rough additional budget on this coffee machine maintenance for a year, around 30 hours maintenance and cleaning, and 250 EUR for service materials: water filters, degreasing tablets, silicone grease, descaler solution etc.
Hello Oleksii, thank you for your detailed comment, we really appreciate your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you have found the cleaning process tedious, we can imagine this is not ideal. Again, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns we can assist you with!
Thanks for your interest in this particular model, Mike. Unfortunately the LatteGo hasn't made its way to Canada just yet. At this point in time we're also unsure whether that's still something that might happen or not. No news we could share regarding that at the moment.
Hello, Aaron. Thanks for your message, and for your interest in Philips product. We're not sure when it will be available in Uk, but we can ask more information to our local team. :) They'll reach out to you directly as soon as they find the time. :) Don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do in the meantime. :)
Hiya Aaron, hope you're doing fine. It varies per country which product will be available where, so it's hard to say if this specific model will be fore sale. However, we advise to keep an eye on the website. Let me know if you've any other questions, Aaron. I'd be more than happy to help. Cheers! Ginny.
I purchased this machine a little over a year ago and it has broken 4 times. And that is not the worst thing, its the lack of customer service , I keep calling but there are never any supervisors to talk to. And they never call me back. All I hear from Philips is a lot of BS, very busy, or what ever. Philips has never returned my calls and have every time denied me to talk to a supervisor.
Thanks for coming back, Michael. Unfortunately we can't help you further on this platform. Could you please reach out to us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter? We’re available to help you there. We hope to hear from you. Thank you!

@@Philips Got my machine back today again, arrived broken again. Water leaking out of the bottom again (same problems). This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. ru-vid.comUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
Hy! I have been using this machine a week ago, but it makes with the strongest setrings a quite watery and light espresso, and i also didnt have the crema layer. Yould u please help how to have a more strong and creamy coffe with this machine? Thanks a lot.
