love the content. and love what you did to restart your plant.. its fun learning what other enthusiasts do :) ... i just brought in my last plant inside to put in the grow tent, its full now lol. i am putting pics online.. temps down to 8 c in the nights which is a bit low for houseplants. :)
Thank you! Ja I’ve also noticed the past couple of days that autumn 🍂 is coming 🫣 I’m kind of looking forward to a new season but I’m gonna miss summer.
@@myjunglestory jeah we have had a short summer this year in wales well it feels short lol.. glad i sorted out all my house plants would have been a shame to lose everything, so had to find a work around.. yeah i like fall its the time of year everything changes colour and i like bright colours. just fed and watered all my plants so with them being indoors they should grow quite well with 16.5 hours of light. they have all started growing so the light deffo was worth it :)
Hellooo!!! It took 4 months for my adensonii to reach 6 feet and 3 24” extensions tall, just had to do a chop and extend, 4 vines on the pole, lost a few leaves at the bottom so far but the rest is still popping out new leaves, shouldn’t be too long before it reaches 6 feet again, I only cut the bottom pot and poke off this time, I’ll have to chop it again soon but it was my first time and I wasn’t sure…it was sooo rooted into the pole o had to chop all the way through 😢 The one major thing I’ve learned, is keep an eye on the plant attaching to the pole while it’s growing, I left mine alone quite a bit and the vines periodically pulled away, didn’t root into it, so now I’ll check and clip/velcro/tie where necessary while the plants are growing up the poles Shoulda seen my whole house after… what a bloody mess! lol
Our adansonii is doing nothing at the moment. I think it’s putting its energy into roots. Hopefully it picks up soon 🤞🏼 haha yes plant chores are always so messy! I always feel like I start of well and mess free but it always end in stuff everywhere 😂
I love your channel, I really look forward to your videos. Have you tried using silica? Plants by Melisa and Gardening in Canada have videos about using it. I’ve been using it for a month and my Alocasia have been spider mite free. I think Melisa’s video where she talks about it is the Alocasia care day or how to make pon. I hope it helps you. I add it to every watering for all my plants now.
@completewithini Hi. The video she has out today she talks about how using silica has gotten rid of her spider mite problem. Since I’ve been using it, none of my Alocasia’s have gotten spider mites. My Alocasia lauterbachiana has been spider mite free, and usually this plant gets spider mites once a month. My Hoya crinkle 8 has started getting new leaves, this plant hasn’t had new growth in a year. I just feel my plants look better all around. I use GT foliage focus, TPS billions and TPS silica gold with every watering.
