On Sunday, January 28th, at 7:00 PM in Splendid Palace, a new season of the public dialogue series "Philosophy on Water" will kick off with a conversation between two exiles - actor and musician Artur Smolyaninov and the head of the Tibetan government-in-exile, Penpa Tsering.
"Philosophy on Water" is the only project in Latvia aimed at fostering open public dialogue, which has grown into a namesake RU-vid channel, starting from a sense of a lack of answers to many vitally important questions in the public domain and the loss of the tradition of confidential and respectful heart-to-heart communication.

We begin the new series of meetings with a discussion about how a person and a state can exist in exile. What does the figure of an exile represent in the modern world? How to live detached from one's people but still experience their tragedies with all one's heart? Is it possible to save a country from terror and injustice while living beyond its borders?
