This is one of the best Tweezers ever. Mike and that bassline is just so freaking awesome! How he pauses the bass and brings back in on beat, eargasmic.
I have listened to this Tweezer 100 times, it is sooo nasty, when Trey used to sit back and play funk instead of being Mr. I can play a thousand notes, it's the best there is
happy anniversary to this show! every time i hear the tweezer intro riff, even when i'm sitting at my desk doing work with my headphones on, i throw my arms up and do my wookie dance.
I think he was waiting for chord/key changes to change the lights, like a sort of complement to the "color" of the song. This one just doesn't have a lot of different chords/keys, although it does have a lot of chord extensions. Nowadays they have lights for those too lol (I'm guessing Kuroda is still the guy? Wish there was some documentary footage with him, we got the producer for Undermind (who is admittedly pretty cool from what I've seen) but I'd love a Kuroda documentary.) Ah well I guess he says it all with his lights lol
