Yeah, remember the time he ate something that could have had trace poisons in it, or the many times when he’s been hit by something the most people would die/be put in a hospital for and he just walks it off?? Phoenix Wright is a bored god
@@j-man3267 And how in a fighting game, he kicked someone's ass by simply summoning a table and roasting his opponent with pointing out how they are guilty.
Although at first I thought Phoneix will be a terrible prosecutors his Reliance on so much bluff. But then I remembered he actually does prosecution in every case of the actual criminal
Yeah he Fr be like “my client couldn’t have done this, BECAUSE THAT MAN OVER THERE IN THE STANDS IS 100% THE KILLER, HERE IS THE WEAPON HE USED, A AUDIO TAPE OF HIM AND THE VICTIM IN A STRUGGLE THAT IS DATED AT THE TIME OF THE CRIME, AND HE BASICALLY CONFESSED IN HIS TESTIMONY EARLIER, I REST MY CASE YOUR HONOR, LETS GO GET LUNCH EVERYONE >:D “
@@celestinewatkins2516 an A+ attorney. A talented one. Most attorneys don't seek out the true culprit easily, not to mention in the same one trial. As the judge said in the first episode (larry's trial), he was surprised that a rookie lawyer like phoenix could prove his client not guilty and prove the true culprit's identity at the same time. Because most attorneys don't do that easily, it's like a miracle. (That's why there are so many unsolved cases, bcs the true culprit havent been found out)
@@harrya9458 I discussed this over lunch today. On one hand, he does have some genuine skill. On the other, sometimes he cross-examines a parrot, or runs across a burning and clearing unstable bridge, or goes through 3 years of law school in order to meet Edgeworth again, only to not actually do anything once he gets there (that's a lot of student debt Phoenix, you don't do that for a 'friend'). Besides, the initials are still AA. I stand by my comment.
An updated autopsy report could help Edgeworth on defense in one specific circumstance: if it validates a witness's testimony and the defendant's alibi.
@@dgamer5075 Invalidates, you mean? In this game, the witnesses are on the Prosecutions side for the most part, so invalidating a witness would benefit the defense

Have you not noticed that in literally every single murder case I've ever done, I've managed to not only take a case with decisive evidence against me and turn it into a resounding win, but also find the actual culprit and pick apart their story so precisely that they were thrown in jail without even having a trial?!" "Well when you put it that way..." "WeLl WhEn YoU pUt It ThAt WaY Someone better update your fuckin' autopsy report to say Cause of Death: Fatally Dunked On." "Why the hell are you a defense attorney then?! You could easily make 10 times the money and go undefeated!" "Shits and giggles."
I love how the Eccentric music (background music) in the beginning was almost like clown music. As if Edgeworth gave him his diploma of a professional circus.
Considering Phoenix had to put up with so many shady prosecution tricks and had to come back from unwinnable situations it only makes sense he'd be a ruthless prosecutor. He knows all their tricks so well.
The Time Traveller would have to: Not make the DL-6 Incident to not happen, Have the Class Trial to never happen, Edgeworth move schools still for some reason(Maybe the school shuts down which makes Edgeworth separate from Butz and Phoenix), And then Phoenix looks for Edgeworth as a Prosecuting Attorney with Edgeworth being a Defense Attorney.
@@4ntok Actually, the time traveller might just have to stop the DL-6 incident. The class trial could still happen, since Phoenix at the end of case 1-4 says if he knew Butz had stolen the money, he would have become a prosecutor, and if Edgeworth hadn't switched schools, Phoenix could've found that out from Edgeworth.
This is the alternate Universe where Wright knew he was set up from the class trial so he took being a prosecutor as his career. This is a very terrifying thought.
@The Alpaca Redstoner and the class trial itself never happening either but would still require Edgeworth moving schools for some reason so Phoenix tries to find him as a prosecuting attorney
Normally Phoenix has to divide his efforts over both defending the innocent and prosecuting the killer, and he wins then, so honestly how didn't they expect this when they allowed him to only focus on prosecution?
he basically does both the prosecutions and the defenses job at once, the official prosecution just becomes an annoyance in the court and not an actual party which you work with
Guys, I think you're forgetting something. Phoenix not only defends his client and prosecutes the real culprit, he also does his own investigation as if it were a private detective. And although the police usually give him some evidence, Phoenix almost always does a better investigation than they do and ends up finding decisive evidence.
Imagining Pheonix as an absolutely ruthless prosecutor who can practically give anyone any sentence from sheer bluffing power is amazing, i need more of this.
Now I wonder what Phoenix Wright actually said to Franziska during those 10 minutes, it must have been something REALLY bad if it's enough to collapse her
I like to imagine he said something about Fransika's father, something like "You're as deplorable as your father, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
@@oblue0033 "The reason your father decided to kill Gregory Edgeworth is because he hated him AND you so if he ever got caught he still got away from you."
@@h.f.a.1221 i do know of that one, but imagine another ancestor that is before him or maybe after him(the ancestor you are talking about) being a prosecutor- wright's family would basically be a strange mix of jobs by then 😂
When he wears the blue trench coat over his suit with just his waistcoat and cravat showing in Justice For All, I thought he bought clothes in Phoenix's colours. But no, it was a one-off.
To be fair, Phoenix has always acted more as a prosecutor than an attorney. Instead of just disproving the allegations, he ends up prosecuting the true culprit with Edgeworth as their defence.
*Edgeworth:* "WHY DO I HEAR BOSS MUSIC?!" *PWAA fans:* "Welcome to the club! You gave us anxiety you jerk!" *Franziska:* "Why is he so meeeeaaaan?! Waaaaaaaaaaahhhaaaaaaahhhhh!" *Me:* "Why is Phoenix wearing young Edgeworth's outfit... it's so out of place..."
pheonix before the thing happened: i really gotta do this? my god this feels out of place- pheonix.. after the thing happened: SHRIVEL UP AND TRY TO GRASP ON WHAT A HIGHER STATUS I HAVE
This is cannon ... You know why ? Because in Layton vs Wright , if Layton makes a mistake , Pheonix immediately calls him out for it and rejoices to see him fumble up an excuse . Say whatever you want about Phoenix , but he's definitely the type to hold a grudge
spoilers for aa4 I mean he chased after kristoph's every move for 7 years nonstop to expose him and dragged him into court, he can hold grudges for years just to ruin someone at the perfect time.
he is definitely the type to hold a grudge, just look at kristoph. he become a paranoid out of fear that someone or phoenix will get concrete evidence of the truth from phoenix last case for f*cking 7 years (and phoenix really did that with the help of apollo & others).
If Phoenix managed to get Von Karma declared guilty for a crime he did 15 years ago, that his own client admitted to doing. Then imagine what he could do if he was actually supposed to get people declared guilty
@@lpfan4491Which is even more funny when you think about it, if Matt never sent DeKiller to kidnap Maya, Phoenix would have straight up given Adrian Andrews the Death Sentence right then and there. Even if Edgeworth found out DeKiller was behind it, he still wouldn't have been able to put Matt on trial again if he was already declared - Not Guilty -
Give the Ace Attorney the power of biased legal system and you've got another French Revolution coming. But this time Phoenix won't distinguish between royalty and commoners.
I think prosecutor Phoenix would be like a more aggressive Klavier- more concerned with the truth (and flirting) than winning, but with more of that Phoenix determination and breaking down witnesses.
Pheonix is defence for a reason. He has the best points, and if he was a prosecutor… More people would be arrested than how many people are in the town.
Edgeworth: _This is the end! That poor fool bumbles his way through so many cases, how could I have possibly fai-_ Phoenix: "I'm sorry Edgeworth, but when did you obtain that autopsy report?" Edgeworth: "NONONONO- *FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-"*

Depending on what she's being tried for, Phoenix may actually have a case. For example, assault. She, on many cases, whips people, with little to no reason.
As soon as I saw the “10 minutes later” bit I knew this was gonna be really f*ckin good. Got a solid laugh out of me! Also I had no idea Franziska had a crying sprite lol.
Phoenix is a boss no one gives him credit for how good at his job he is. Because he doesn't just do his job he also does the prosecutor's job on top of it. It makes sense he'd be a ruthless prosecutor.
"I think this got out of hand Mr. Edgeworth...." Considering the amount of high pressure situations Phoenix has been in with some prosecutors, with all odds and people against him, this is right on the money Gumshoe...
Having played the trilogy, yeah, I can see how Wright would make a great prosecutor. Which as others pointed out in the comments, he's already basically the defense, detective and prosecutor lol
Imagine a universe where Phoenix found out that it was Larry who stole MIles's lunch money and decided to become a prosecutor and there wasn't an earthquake with a blackout on a day of DL-6 accident so Gregory Edgeworth didn't die and Miles became a defence attorney

Imagine you walk into the courtroom and you see that your procecutor is Phenix. You are dead. He will personally chose your sentance. You have no chance no matter who your defence is. This man knows all the tricks, he managed to win unwinable situations, he managed to solve a case, that was impossible to solve within 15 minutes most likely, and he managed to make every single one of the procecutors against him lose their perfect record. You might as well plead guilty at that point. And HOPE that he doesnt start to investigate further, so that you dont get charged with much more serious crimes.
No... he collapsed her so bad she "chose death". Edgeworth had to "whip her into shape" after Phoenix ended both hers and Manfred's lives and careers. This case would be Phoenix's "perfect game" of giving them "Karma".
