I think it's cause the chords contain semitone dissonance (in this case, a major second and minor third playing at the same time). A lot of strangely catchy tunes have that going on somewhere (such as Britney Spears - Toxic, inabakumori - Lagtrain, or Berdly's theme from Deltarune)
I recently played the original trilogy with my siblings and father, and I think my father's favorite character to voice was Hotti. He's just so creepy and unlikable that it became fun to hate him. My father would also butt into random conversations as Hotti, which we always found hilarious. It felt like he was ruining the characters' days just by being there. We've also finished the Layton crossover and Apollo Justice, and we're currently on The Great Ace Attorney. These games have been a blast to play, especially with my old man.
you are my favourite person on the internet for this. Seriously, why do people feel the need to spoil things and then justify it with "tHe gAMe cAmE OUt X YeArS aGO, yOu ShOuLD hAvE plaYEd iT By nOW"? finally someone on the internet who is considerate for a change
Yeah it would've been better if Yogi got this theme (but no, apparently they gave him Marvin Grossberg's theme???? That's his theme and his theme only!)
This plays for the Woman working at the Conputer place in Recipe For Turnabout too and I thought I remembered it from JFA turns out I was...That creepy Guys theme.....
the only plus side to Director Hotti/Hickfield showing up in a game is that he brings this theme with him. That is the *ONLY* plus, otherwise, I'd be fine if the character showed up dead in the next game.
@@naan000 Yeah, he "recognizes" her as a patient at the clinic, and then starts talking about the nurse assigned to work with that kid. The punchline is that he has a crush on the nurse.
I love this song, but I always associate it with Dr. Hotti and Ben. Why does one of the best songs in the game end up being the theme songs for two creeps?
