Bro, I am in tears!!!! Thank you so so so much. I have to do photocatalytic dye degradation for my project. I started my day studying what photocatalyst is, watched several videos, and as a final step, I got your video and got a crystal clear idea of what the process is.
@@materialsandtechnology8956I'm also working on waste water treatment using metal oxides photo catalyst. Can you please tell some parameters which would help in theoretically screening materials suitable for the task. Also are you guys from IIT
Nice explaination and work.. Keep doing 👍 My question is, if we use magnetic nanoparticals then how this procedure will be occur? Magnetic strirrer is compulsory in this procedure? Because magnetic Nanoparticles attached with magnetic strirrer. Then what is the solution???
hello, I have a question, is it always necessary in photodegradation experiments before turning on the UV lamp to wait until the adsorption-desorption equilibrium is obtained, because you don't haven't mentioned this step .
You are right , we just demonstrated it in a simple and its a basic one , we will shoot more videos explaining the whole phenomena and upload in near future , thanks for your fruitful suggestions
@@materialsandtechnology8956 I have another question please, is there a big difference, if we don't do the dark and we do the photodegradation directly?
@@materialsandtechnology8956 what is the power for that lamp? Is it strong enough to perform the photocatalytic degradation in a reasonable short time?
