Veronique is incredible.... such an inspiration. Journalists and Photojournalists on those front lines really ARE hold truth to power and their bravery is the only reason we really know even just half, of is what's going on in these places.
It is amazing to me that this kind of journalism does not get the accolades and attention I feel it deserves. That so many people are satiated by the myopic and mindless journalism presented by major news sources. When did we lose the ability to see other points of view without craning our necks to avoid the truth? There was a time when journalists were expected to be fact-finders. Unfortunately, now the standard for large media outlets is fact-supporting. Amazingly the half-truths seem to be the Soylent Green people demand. Thank you for presenting these facts and perspectives in order that I may arrive at my own conclusions.
