@@RobbieMaynardCreates im european so there's like one catastrophic weather event with deaths after the other, the longest period of sun in the past 5 weeks was like 6hrs?
Great video as always! I’m not so patiently waiting for winter at this point. Hoping we get a ton of snow this winter! I was stoked to hear your episode of Analog Talk. I’m glad they got you on there to talk about your work etc. 👍
thank you for listening to the pod bud! I was super nervous but it was a lot of fun. Im hoping for some serious snowfall this year. Last year was a real dud
So funny you mentioned potentially buying the GW690. I have the GW690ii and have been toying with the idea of selling it - only because I just never shoot it anymore. I'm based out of CT so if you come to find that you are in the market for one just let me know!
I think I'd opt for a Fujica BLP rather than two of the fixed-lens bodies. That also gives you access to the 100mm AE lens, which works shockingly well. I'm considering that change myself for similar reasons. I had one before and wish I never sold it.
@@RobbieMaynardCreates The rangefinder was my biggest issue. I actually used a handheld laser rangefinder quite often when I owned it. The range finder was quite a bit better once I used a flash gel to cover the range finder window which increased the contrast.
Where are you located (like approximately) because it is beautiful out there! This reminds me a lot of my hometown on the St. Lawrence River and we have a hydro dam and that whole area is forest, power lines, ponds, train tracks, canals, and so on and this video made me incredibly homesick for this time of year. Beautiful video and photos, just stumbled across your channel and I’m glad I did!
@@RobbieMaynardCreates Awesome! I picked that up from some of your other videos 😀 I'm from Ontario on the border with New York so your videos feel very familiar to me. I'm going back to Canada next year to begin working on a dream project of mine which is to document the great lakes and the St Lawrence River, your videos are hitting the spot for my homesickness so I appreciate how gentle and inspiring they are. All the best dude!
