Beautiful photography. I live in the NW of England, and less than couple of miles from my house, there is a very small nature reserve, small even by English standards. It is in fact a very local project. There is a pond and some old trees that grow there. Very much like your scene. I frequently visit it and photograph it as seasons change. It has many different looks. I hope it survives the mad mad policy of the present government to build everywhere, to provide housing for the people. They have missed the trick that due to the location of a lot of these new estates, hardly any young people could afford them, unless they are from well to do families.
I just came across you channel and have been watching your videos for a couple of hours now. I am not sure what I like more, your images or the great commentary. Keep it up, it's very inspiring. Makes me want to go out and shoot!
Addition: this particular video a really like because I have been coming to the floodplains in the Netherlands quite often these days and the landscape is very similar. The trees and the reflections, it's just great for photography.
Beautiful shots! Winter floods have a completely different mood compared to summer ones. And your video conveys this feeling of a cold and lonely landscape very well.
